I have a bad engine in one of our work trucks and I'm tasking one of the guys with replacing it with a used one. He has done engine swaps before and has had two years formal training at a local college automotive shop, so we'll figure out how good that training was soon enough.
    My questions are as follows:
    1. Who makes the best manual for removing and re-installing the 5.7 liter 3URFE engine in a 2012 Tundra? Chilton, Haynes, etc.?
    2. Do the 2008 3URFE engine and swap comments in a similar thread relate to this? are they the same set-up??

Thank you for any help you can offer.
    Mike
