2006 Tundra needs more power

It’s taken me over a year to finally notice that I’m getting slightly better gas mileage with my bully dog tuner. Haha

 

Completely agree. Our trucks come stock with a very efficient cai. Aftermarket tubes with a cone filter are nothing but a waste of a few hundred bucks.

 

The 12 holes equal the same area as the stock 4 holes. In other words the my new injectors are the same size as stock just the fuel is atomized better. You actually use less fuel. You step on the gas less hard to accelerate. You down shift less. Etc.

 

Are the 12 hole parts off the shelf Toyota parts, or custom made?

 

Is it crazy the 5.7 gets better mpg?

 

All of that torque and those extra gears make it possible.

 

All the newer trucks get better MPG. The technology has improved or perhaps consumers just demand better.
