Well it looks better... Especially from 10+ feet lmao

I could have taken more time and prepped a little better had I been home alone. But the paint itself desipte being the right paint code, is a warmer white than my truck. Maybe it'll cure and look right. Otherwise I may sand it all down and try again but with super white. Fuck it lol.

Next step is remove that ugly fender thing on the rear and the dealers decal on the tail gate.

I bought a new floor jack and channel locks to install my front superbumps today

If I had an impact I'd tackle the rear ones, but I'll hold off for now

Well I finally adjusted my BPV and i think it actually made a difference. Who would have suspected aboutn3/8 inch adjustment upuwoukd make a difference in braking? Hopeful it only gets better when I flush the brake system and install new wheelers off road SS extended brake lines Friday. In other news I just realized despite what Toyota says about my VIN... I DO have an LSD!!! :yay::woot:

Yeah buddy. That LSBP Valve adjustment is amazing. Wonder is the other extra brake work will make a difference compared.

Got some new stickers and picked up a 285 spare. Hell it's no 295, but it's closer than the 265 that came with the truck!

Absolutely love your truck man! Hope to get mine there one day!

How do you like the ride with the toytecs and such? And you have 295's correct? Do you know what lift amount you got out of your setting on the front's? I am still researching but I am 99% i am going to go with almost the identical setup you have.

    Thanks!!!

    Thanks dude. :)

The toytecs ride pretty great now that I've had em on for about 4 months and taken them wheeling at hidden falls they've settled and are pretty smooth. At first they were a little stiff, but now they're broken in they ride so much smoother than stock or even stock coils and 5100s. So far well worth their value.

    Yes 295/75r16 Cooper Discover AT3xlt

I forgot to measure before and after the lift but I think it was between 2.5 and 3 inches. Of course the toytecs are fully adjustable so you could set em to 0-3 inches I believe. I haven't adjusted mine, they came at a decent setting. I also got SPC UCAs because they were 25% off on black friday. Not sure if they were necessary, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Rear I have the wheelers 1.5 inch progressive AAL and stock leaf pack with the overload removed, the truck appears to sit perfectly level and seems to flex enough. I haven't measured front and rear to confirm if actually level. The rear Bilstein 5160s seen to be a great value as well as look cool lol.

Hope this helps and thanks for checking out my build.

@because_v8 since they don't make front Superbumps for our trucks you just ordered a set for the 2007+ Tundras correct?

I believe they were the ones for 2nd gen Tacoma. I recommend PMing wheelers @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc

Thanks for the in depth response! That helps me out a ton! I think I am going to go with that set-up! A little more money but I know that if I want to do some light offroading, then I can.

I'm definitely following to see what you do next! Thanks again!

*Also, fun fact, we have the same wheels! Mine are 17's and are satin in finish. I plan to have them powercoated a dark bronze color in the near future.

That makes 3 of us first gen on here with black KMC Enduros lol
I like the bronze wheels. What color is your truck? Got a pic? I wish mine were 17s. Then I could have gone with 34s instead of 33.5s. but a local TW member was selling em so cheap I couldn't pass up the deal. The SCS 17s I would have gone with tend to run pretty expensive. Every now and then you can find en used for a decent price, but I only paid 450 for NY wheels so I'm happy with em til it's time for new tires.

As for what's next in not too sure. I may finally install my rear bumper if no one buys it. I'd like to get some sliders soon.

She an ugly broad for now, but I just couldn't pass it up once I drove it. I will make making a whole new custom fab'ed bed and front bumper. At that time I will also paint the truck body in a bada$$ white bedliner. I'll do the entire bed in black bedliner. Lastly the wheels in that bronze I mentioned. I got all 4 wheels with these fairly low tread tires for $300. The wheels have very minor spider-webbing or whatever it's called. It looks like spider webs across the satin look of the wheel. That didn't bother me since I will be stripping them and getting them redone anyway. They look great from 10 feet!

The color looks much better in the pictures, trust me. In person, not so much! ha!

I'm located in NE Indiana. Fort Wayne is the closest big city. I converted the brakes to the bigger 13wl (I think that's right) from Power Stop with their Z36 kit. I want it as close to mechanically perfect as I can get before I do aesthetic stuff!

How are those larger bump stops performing on road? Do they make a difference street driving, or not come into play until off-road hard driving?
