I bought my first Toyota in 2012, it was a 1999 Tacoma that had been in my family since 2001 (RIP Pearl). Then I replaced it with a 2003 Tacoma. Both were TRD OR prerunners so when I decided I wanted a Tundra, I knew I needed a 4x4.

Finally trimmed to fit my new tires thanks to Nathan of Trail Toys

This is my 06 Super White AC Tundra Limited v8 4wd the day I brought her home. Her name is Penelope.

I'm really new lol I been here like a month already.
What part of Houston? I'm from Alvin (Southside).

There's a big Texas Toyota Collation beach meet at Bolivar on Saturday October 20th that a bunch of Houston TW members are attending. I'll be there too. Here's a link for more details.

Nice looking truck! If I were to change one thing about my truck it would be that I wish it were white.

When you put your Flowmaster in, did the offset in/center out or offset in/offset out fit better?

I'm not a fan of white, I like blue the best. But it beats the ugly silver of my last Taco.

I'm not sure what you mean on the exhaust. I got the for free from a local TW member it was used for like 1k miles before he replaced it with a magnaflow. I had a shop cut out the stock muffler and resonator and weld in the muffler and about 2 foot of pipe. I may chop off the tail pipe at the axle turn down but o haven't decided. It sounds so good as is.

I'm referring to the orientation of the inlet and outlet on the muffler; this is offset in/center out (or vice versa):

    And offset in/offset out:

So i bought a rear bumper a few weeks back and today had my friend and local TW/TTC member, Nathan of Trail Toys do some cutting and welding work on it today. Here's a sneek peak.

How’s the truck ride with having both progressively and digressively valved suspension?

Not sure what you mean but it rides great so far. Just needs bigger tires and an alignment

As far as I knew, Toytec runs progressive valving on their brand coilovers, and I know Bilstein runs progressive valving in theirs. It’s generally common practice to run both coilovers and rear shocks with the same type of valving so the suspension is in sync, so to speak. Haven’t heard anyone running a mix of both, so I’m interested to hear if they work well together.

Not exactly the same thing as far as my understanding, progressive leaves just means the pack doesn’t have overloads on the bottom. What comes on our trucks is considered a two stage design, because it has curved leaves and the flat leaves are the “overload” springs.

You stated progressive valving for Boss and Bilstein. I was under the impression that the Boss co is essentially a 5100 with a threaded collar. If that’s the case, both are digressively valved.

That’s a valid point, I know my Toytec/Radflo’s are progressive and could’ve sworn one of the Toytec guys told me all of theirs are. Just because it’s essentially a 5100 doesn’t mean they’re digressive though. But I could be wrong on the Boss/Ultimate coilovers I suppose.
