    Well, as head Girl Scout, I must suit up and show up. But we can evaluate and, as with any circumstances we deem unsafe, we can always back out and find somewhere to drink beer. :drunk:

    1. This particular route is described as 'slippery as snot' when wet (Eeuw!)

    2. This is SoCal. Even if it pours on Thursday, very likely it will be perfect by Sunday (less dust!)

    Just kidding. If you look through this thread, you will see a post by @eccracer104 that describes the, I think, three button process to set the freq we'll use. Or you can wait and we will set everyone up before we head out.

    So true. I have mud and stains on my engine block that will never go away. I’ve had about an inch thick of mud on top of my exhaust system when washing my trucks after.

    It's getting close! Charging up the 2nd handheld radio I got, staged the MaxTrax, compressor, and various other just-in-case supplies. Got a full tank of gas. Ready and excited about our meet-and-play, Guys!

    What channel are you running on the trail? I have both CB and HAM in my gen 1.

    There has been zero rain in Murrieta so far. The trail should not be muddy. I live about 20 mins SW of Bee Canyon.

    I don't know about that. I bought an extra just because of this possibility, and will loan it to you. If we don't have as many radios as trucks, we'll just line-up so anyone without is between others that do. (Secret: we don't really NEED radios for this easy trip (there are, seriously, 2 forks in the route, and we'll go right at both), but we think they're cool, so....

    Well... in my (limited) experience, we can multiply the rsvp's x 3.1.

    So far, the following have indicated they're planning to participate:
    @Sunnier + 1 kid
    @Marty McFly & "Jennifer McFly"
    @SocaliTundra958 + family
    @nishibot
    @Porschetech29 + family
    @JDL17CM4x4
    @fisherman951
    @Gibzki + family
    @OCxCEMENT

    People that have shown interest but I can't figure out if they're coming:
    @Spolar
    @pschiller86 + family
    @Grendel + family
    ... and... @Spvrtan ...

    People who have joined in discussion but can't make it this time:
    @ccdawnpatrol
    @8MINT8
    @01erionracing
    @mini BEEFY
    @jc153

    @Marty McFly wants to bring a personal assistant buddy with a Tacoma so he can feel powerful. :muscleflexing:

    And @OCxCEMENT is bringing 3 buddies who don't drive Tundras because he wants to have a bigger posse than our resident movie star.... :stirthepot: :yawn:

    If I use the same math formula :typing:

    we applied to our last meet-and-play, I get +/- 27 trucks. :evil:

    Edit: Y'all okay with Idyllwild Pizza Co. afterward? It may be a good idea to give 'em a call (warning) about how many of us may descend upon them. So maybe give me an idea when we meet, so I can call ahead....

    333B8CC0-BD73-4192-B1CD-3B47C78A6F03.jpg I’m just coming back from Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. I ended up upgrading my 2 30$ Park 7 day passes to yearly passes for 80$. Never been off-roading and would really love to go. I’m currently on vacation. Going to see if the wifey has anything planned for this Sunday. If not then I’m in. Unfortunately I don’t have a CB radio or any experience

    Yes but you have a beautiful Inferno Tundra! And we need at least one!! No worries about not having a radio; the great news about that colour is, we couldn't lose you if we try!!

    Come on out Sunday, if you can make it! If you haven't booked lodging yet for Sunday night, Idyllwild's a little hoaky (back in the day escape for the Hollywood movie set) but in a fun, woodsy way. Definitely a good alternative to the more populated cities.

    Edit: you may already know this. Just saw you live in I.E. Duh! But hey-ho, I meant to be welcoming. :)

    So this whole time I thought this was a Saturday trip... :turtleride:. I also didnt expect to get my wheels/tires delivered and installed this quick... So i am going to try to make it sunday, just with my pops (in his Taco) later in the day. I can't make 10am.

    Do you guys plan to drive the trail back down after pizza? If you see a white tundra and white taco, give us a honk.

    Probably I won't drive the trail back down, because I'll be headed south to San Diego. It might make sense for the Riverside guys to head back that way though. Either way, we'll look for you!

    Count me in. I am going with my son.
    After pizza I will take Little Thomas Mountain next to lake Hemet and I believe 6S13 to Rouse Hill (5S15) back to Hemet, this is an easy trail and takes 2+ hours.
    Just an FYI if anyone want to join.

    More to Come ...

    So things have changed this weekend but fingers are still crossed. I got the truck ready though if I get the all clear. :pout:

    And I will still go if a little muddy. My truck is dirty already it has been hurting for a wash.

    Sundays are never good for me. Those are my slow days to get ready for work. I normally only do runs in my FJ. A long bed tundra with the rear sway bar wont be much fun for me. I will bring my FJ to another meet.
