Realistically between work and family (little ones) it would be near impossible to get away. I snuck in a few hours of snowboarding this week and that was a challenge!

It would be so awesome, the landscape out West is different, all the pics you guys post are amazing and I would love to get out there some day. In 2 years I get an extra week vacation, that may make it a reality!

I will have to check with the wife and son. I think he has a birthday party to go to that day. I got out of the last one to go wheel with you guys with the wife's blessing. She wants to go on the next one, my son too. (he's only going to be 4 in March) I'll let you guys and gals know.

 

Be careful on the Bee Canyon about the traffic because this is a green sticker trail so expecting dirt bikes, quads and SxS going fast on the opposite direction.

 

Sounds to me like they have to be carefull. If they see our tundras coming thru they better move lol.

 

How come no one mentioned the $5.00 adventure pass (daily pass). I still have an extra from last year.

I did in passing. Post 141. But I interpreted, based on the lack of amenities at Bee Canyon, that we can drive through without passes.

$5 is certainly not a bad price for peace of mind.

 

You all are a good sounding board before I go public with stuff. I just got new rims and have no idea how much to sell the old stock steelies for. Any ideas? I looked online and they were going for roughly $120 a piece. Sound fair to offer all four with lugs for $250? Too low? Too high? Also, does anyone think the dealer might be interested in this type of deal? I obviously can call them I just thought I would ask.

Oh and I just fixed that rain gutter btw. But it is California so you know...not a ton of rain.

Lol on the rain gutter. Mine needs a fix for a couple of years now. Good thing its just the elbow in the floor and wall corner.

 

If I understand, those pictured are your new rims, the standard TRD's? And the ones you want to sell are the non-TRD standards that came with your non-TRD Tundra.

If so, that sounds like a fair price. I haven't checked Craigslist though, to see how many others are on offer, and what others are asking. If it were me I'd maybe call local dealers (and have pics showing condition) but expect them to say they don't need 'em (they probably don't; the few trucks they upgrade with after-market wheels and suspension probably leave them extra sets). BUT if there's anything the dealers have that you want (TRD sway bar, etc.) maybe you'd get a better offer to trade?

If you sell private party, I think that's a fair starting price, I'd definitely check Craigslist to see what others are listing theirs for, and how flooded the market is.
