The dude in the orange truck had a real hickey on his neck, not from a seatbelt. I was heckling him about it. We had a legit but funny conversation about it being something most people left back in high school. Anyways, with a truck like that, if he isn't gettin sucked on, then he's suckin on somethin...... just sayin

I am finally home. Survived Phoenix - after visiting Blanding, Utah, I've decided the basin isn't too bad after all.

No -- it was on my itinerary and I was very close to it, but I was a little crunched on time. I did a few trails in the Bear Ears NM nearby and camped at the top of the Moki Dugway though, that was cool!

Next time I will visit Natural Bridges NM for sure, same with Hole-In-The-Rock. I can totally see myself going back to see more, possibly get a room or AirBnB in Moab/ Monticello another time. I'm sure the La Sals and out east towards Gateway are beautiful in the summer.

There's some awesome camping spots east of the La sals near the Utah/Colorado border

Depending on the weather, I'm thinking next year maybe doing Utah the week before T2S and then not staying as long at T2S.

So I've determined it's nearly impossible to order Cactus Cooler to Texas unless I go to Dallas, or want to pay $10 a 12pk plus $25 shipping. Fuck that

Or you can pay Amazon more per can with no shipping. If you use them.411FE887-603C-4C4C-938F-A5E1D7ECFDBE.jpg

You'd still have to ship em for $$$. Maybe next time. If you feel like looking into shipping. Might also be cheaper to ship from AZ. I just wanna share the fabled orange pineapple with my local friends and family. I wanna taste T2S again :D

I should've just taken a few minutes out of my 20hr drive home to find some off my route.
