I'll have to look at dates, and vacation times. Currently, I'm making no promises I can't keep.

I'd love to go, but as of this post. Unsure.

26 hours for me. Why does the US have to be so damn big! I would love to go too but we're talking about 4 days just in drive time assuming I could do 12 hour days.

4 days? Shiiit, I could have that licked in two days. I'd be worthless for about 8 hours after wards, but I'm also not contending with dogs and other stuff too

Not sure what I did to be recognized as honorary 1st gen but I’ll take it. Also, I have a pic in my phone of someone I think might be related to @RUSTYNUTS

I think Sedona is definitely do-able, looks like a solid 3 days of casual driving, or 2 days if I jam it hard.

If I went I-20 to I-40, it would put me through @bmf4069's backyard on the last day, regardless which option I chose. And I've got family in Memphis, so I definitely have a bed to crash in if I broke it up in thirds.

Would be a quick way to get 4k miles on the truck :bananadance:

Ya know @shifty`, there are some things in life that you can never be fully prepared for, and if you keep waiting until you're 'ready', then it'll never happen. I'm not going to be ready either, but I'll be there. Shit, I blew a rear diff the afternoon before a day run, got my truck home on a flatbed, and swapped the diff, and was dumpin fluid in it by 11 pm, and made the trip the next morning. And it was a blast.
Really tho, I'm just givin you shit cuz it would be awesome to see ya out there.

I didn't see the suggested dispersed camping spots on the site.

I have camped to the West of Sedona and to the NorthWest in the National Forest in the past. We are you guys planning?

Might be able to pop up there for Saturday at least.

Can’t wait to see the first gen gang out here in full effect!

for the people with a long drive, I know how it is. Lisa and I did 36 hours each way for a couple years while we lived in Ohio. But with two of us it wasn’t terrible since we could team drive nonstop. Hope y’all can make it!
