Made it home. Straight shot was 1050 miles, but the trip out there i was over 1500.

thought about throwing a new bulb in the headlight housing and keeping the trip going, but i think i need a new harness.

Round trip I hit 3k miles. I drove straight to Kerrville from Flagstaff omw home. Such a long, pretty drive across the desert. Lots of cool stuff to look at to distract me from the lonesome 15+5hr drive

I left camp at 9:30am CT. Got to the cabin at 1:30am CT, sept 4 hours, then got up at 7am and drove the last 5 hours home. Arrived at noon.
Just 3 twelve hours shifts til LSTJamboree.

I did get to drive thru Roswell on the way home, so that was nice. One more item checked off my bucket list this trip. Not bad. If I weren't in such a hurry each way, I'd have stopped at a casino to check that off too. I really should have

Here's a fun fact; he is also the guy that just took me to that same exact place on friday, and I got stuck. He didn't know I was 2wd. Then Emelio and I removed my rear bumper

It's a positive if you make it one. Now I have an excuse to build a sick rear bumper. Was never happy with that one. obviously needed better shackle points. jajaja.

Lol. Like my silver linings: not running Cinders meant I didn't break anything. And not getting a shower at camp because I noticed the gas supply line had a leak, allowed me to live another day. All blessings.

My shoulder was bothering me the whole drive home. Feels fine now. Still not sure if stiff-arming a run away wheel and tire combo was stupid or genius. On one hand, it hurt a little. On the other hand, that might've been just what my bum left shoulder needed to fix itself. I won't know for sure until i try to lift something heavy and either it'll hurt or won't. :itllbuffout:

I've got about half a century of bullshit knowledge cluttering my head. Forensics has played a large role in everything I've done the last few decades. When I see random shit out of place, I can't help but dig.

In some of the Pokemon Gameboy games you have to learn braille

I love gaming. Pokemon never garnered my fancy. Neither did PvP fighting games, military recon games, or RPGs. I'll sodomize most people in Mario Kart though :D

Game devs need to be doing more of that. Making people learn important stuff they wouldn't otherwise. It's an easy way to pass on the knowledge in a way that sticks.

As far as we’ve seen this other crater doesn’t have a name on any maps so leadership and I have decided to name it Brent’s Crater
That’s awesome! We were trying to figure that out when they gave me my bag but none of us knew morse code and I forgot to look it up

    For sure!

gotta get some food stands going for next GFF. Voss appears to have the quesadillas down to a science. Just need some grilled street corn, chips and salsa station and we’re ready to go. Bring your sombrero everyone!
