New plan: drive straight to Las Cruces on Wednesday. Hit up the dispensary. Check in at a hotel. Grab a stiff drink or two at the bar. Pass out. Take my time to check out Thursday morning. Head to Sedona.

Looks like I can either stay on 10, or turn onto 180 in NM, or 70 in NM
    Anything worth seeing in Phoenix?

OK I'll skip it then. I want to make some worthwhile stops if you can think of anywhere I gotta see while I'm out west.

You’ll need to listen to the zeppelin album, how the west was won, in it’s entirety. But I’ll look for spots worthwhile in that area if I’m familiar

This is the best, if you can make it happen. I don't want you dying in the way, AND getting in Thursday, even late at night, puke be waaay better for feeling like you don't miss out.

How bad are the catalytic converter thefts out there? We'll be parking in downtown Flagstaff for 3 nights.

Convince me to buy a cat guard before driving out even though I don't want to spend the monies...

A good cat plate could double as a skid plate on the trails.... :p

    Do you like "street entertainment?"

Flagstaff isn't really a big city like Phoenix or LA. I honestly don't know if cat thieves are an epidemic there, but I'd feel safer in Flag than I would in a big city. It is smack dab in the middle of the 40 though which could draw traveling criminals.

Just get the damn cat plates. Peace of mind.

I've got some skid row bolt on cat guards still in the box. You just gotta buy their transmission skid plate for em to bolt onto... if anyone's interested I'll bring em to Sedona.

Where else can you find the pollution of LA, the prostitution of Vegas, and more elderly people than Palm Desert?

Yep, both parts. I get it - if you don’t end up in one of the Amish towns.

Nothing like a swift breeze down Michigan Avenue on a December day to rip your soul out.

Gotta say the JD headquarters in Moline was a huge letdown for me. Was expecting to see tractors and skid steers line up for miles.. there was maybe 4
