The line of business I support files claims with a mortgage insurer. They were recently asked to make sure a section of the claim is listing itemized expenses in chronological order by the completion dates.

I got in touch with the tech team, got confirmation that we can do that and the only exception is of a completion date is missing (which cannot happen so thats fine). I checked a dozen claims and all checked out.

I replied to the line of businesses compliance person that we are sending that section in ascending order from oldest completion date to newest. Attached several examples for review.

30 minutes later she replies asking if I can confirm that this is in chronological order.

This is the kind of shit that I deal with daily. Fawking Vanna White people who can pass a message but can't comprehend an answer or bother to check for themselves. There are VPs on this email, idk how some survive.

    Rant over.

I did have a slight sense that it was a convenient opportunity for you to share what you did, as it’s not a topic brought to the table often if ever. And as you said, it’s not stuff we (as men) talk about enough and I know it feels good to get shit off your chest once in awhile. Just wanted to make it clear I wasn’t tryin to be a dick. Thanx for sharing tho bud and I agree with you 100%

Appreciate it. Was definitely on the tip of my brain. Not too long ago we got caught with our pants down on one of the other truck forums I've been on a while. Another well-known board member took his own life. 'Life of the party' type. Friends with everyone. Would give you the shirt off his back, that type of dude.

I'd totally put this emoji up his butt right now :laser:if I could do it without triggering a felony charge.

As soon as I get off work I gotta pull my kitchen faucet, scrape the old caulk from the backslash behind it, redo the caulk, then install my new faucet. Then I gotta pack up for the weekend in SD. Gonna meet up with @evilrb on the way to drop off some parts. Then tomorrow evening I gotta fix some plumbing for my brother in law (not the towel rack guy, the other one). Hopefully Sunday I can relax a bit.

We got volentold for freight elevator duty. During this week and the next, all the BS light bulb changer calls come to us. Yesterday I got one for “check filter light on, on AC”
I didn’t volunteer for working this weekend let’s put it that way…..

This is true. I've always said friends and family shouldn't have to pay for plumbing. If my brother in law called a plumber it would be easily $400 for what is really an hours work if that. I'll take care of it and charge him dinner. He's a generous guy, last time we went to Hawaii he paid for our room.

Hey, as long as you're getting paid at least time-and-a-half for that OT, you're golden. I made a mint that way in my first decade or so of working life (14-24)

By the time I hit my late 30s, started to realize that shit accumulates and starts weighing on you more than you realized.

Some recent chatter on that here, lots of plugging for cryo rotors, but OEM is only $65ish, less than half the cost: https://www.tundras.com/threads/front-brakes.89728/

it’s not a bad deal, we get 16 hours of straight time for going on standby, whether we got a call or not. Calls are a 2 hour minimum. time and half regularly , Sunday’s are double time. If you make time during the work week, you get the option of going home on rest bank for straight time or staying and working the day on time and half. You qualify for time if you don’t get 8 consecutive hours of rest or 3 calls after midnight. We had a bunch of storms this week, thankfully just primary and secondary power lines down. No broke poles but cut a lot of trees off lol

We’re on every 5 weeks, unless the you take somebody else’s or the one call crew calls in for extra help

    Cheers!
i got the z24 or low noise stoptechs. And cryo discs and things have been great for 5 months. Drive a bit, get the truck warmed up, make sure the MC isnt dragging. But im in the habit of using the ebrake everytime i reverse now. I dialed in the rears to grab evenly about 2k miles ago, and my next oil change i’ll check everything again.

    sorry about this shit pic:
    B4619D66-F60B-4701-B90F-890E9D38CB41.jpg
but id’d hit the hats with high heat black, cause when i get the wheels off i’ll have to clean the rotors. So maybe the super stop z36 would be your thing, but the z24 or whatever easy stop doesnt really stop the dust, but the dust thats there is easy to clean.
