Ok, we are all well aware of the GX460 caliper upgrade, but has anyone tried the T100 brake booster/Master Cylinder upgrade? It seems to me, that these two in conjunction might just be the Holy Grail of FGT brake upgrades (I'm not sure how much increased brake performance the rear disc kits are...but I'd like those for convenience too, just too expensive). It seems like all in, this option (Calipers/Booster/MC) would be well under a $1000 if you do it yourself...

One of the things I'm struggling with in my head is trying to figure out why Toyota would have downgraded the performance of the BB/MC on the at the time new Tundra relative to the older T100...? I know the T100 appeared before @empty_lord was born, but being a Toyota Tech, maybe he has some insight?

As I read your post I was literally thinking the exact same thing. Maybe the answer simply boils down to cost? Otherwise I don't know why they would do it. I've only seen the T100 swap mentioned one time but haven't seen anyone actually do it.

I know that the guy who came up with the caliper upgrade has also mentioned this upgrade as well on FB, but I can't find anymore info on it from him directly.

Maybe they gave us a weaker booster and M/C because we got ABS and I don't think the T100 did?

I have a set of longer lines that replace the rubber section and the hardline section. They go from the hardliners at the frame to the caliper as one piece. I like the idea of eliminating the extra joint, but it wasn't for having a longer line.

I replaced the one under the hood as well as gas cap and PCV valve so I'm down to the vent solenoid under the truck attached to the charcoal canister, the canister itself, or incorrectly connected lines to the newly installed used fuel tank, or leaking fuel tank

I had evap troubles on my Tahoe. I don't remember if it was code P0441 or P0445. Mine kept pointing to the fuel tank pressure sensor. May be an idea on yours also.

New Zealand wagyu patties grilled with a dusting of garlic and a generous amount of black pepper, bacon covered in black pepper, fresh lettuce, tomato doused in black pepper, herb mozzarella, grilled sweet onion, lightly grilled brioche buns with a bit of alioli mayo.

Taking the truck in for a smoke test it's too expensive and difficult to keep making semi educated guesses and I have a stuck spinning bolt holding the vapor canister in place. Let's hope for it's not one of the 300 dollar parts or even worse the fuel tank I just had put in.

I suspect it'll be the rear purge (if exists) or the tank pressure sensor, possibly the tank if this started after replacement. Only two of those are gonna show smoke. :)

It should be very clear whether the tank pressure sensor is working correctly, I would think. But haven't had to dick with one on a Toyota before.
