Seems to me that might be an overreach. DOT approval/certification is Federal, not individual states.

Cali has laws about Led headlights as well. Even the high end full kits are illegal. You’re not allowed to see while driving at night lol

Are they gonna pull my bulbs when i get laser projectors? The more ‘off-road only’ parts i have, the better.

    What are laser projectors?
Just LEDs with a projector lens?

My wife saw this one the other day and was able to get a picture.
Nice step side Tundra. First one I’ve ever seen.
Thought some of 1st Gen crowd would enjoy seeing it.

Some is correct. Most don’t like those rear tail lights.

    I’m curious about newer Tundras.
Had Toyota maintained ability to pull a motor out from above?

I know to pull a Lot of newer motors of the big 3 you either have to pull the cab, or take all the suspension and mounts loose to raise vehicle off the motor?

At a shop not too long ago and they had to lift vehicle off motor just to change starter or water pump as it was internal.

They pull the front body and cab off the mounts for the new Tundra to replace the Turbo because it’s easier than pulling the engine.

no, some people respect trucks for doing truck things & an afterthought stepside goes out of its way to suck worse at truck stuff.

Man, it would bring me so much joy if there was some legislation and enforcement on too bright of low beams or ones with improper reflectors. My eyes are super sensitive at night and most headlights these days really mess up my vision. I have to wear polarized glasses when driving at night because a lot of headlights mess me up so bad, I don't wear glasses at all otherwise. It's to the point I avoid driving at night because it's just unsafe for me.

It's when it rains at night that gets me.
At least I made it all the way to 59 before I needed glasses and I really dont need them to drive unless I'm looking for street signs.
