Called Local Toyota Parts Programme to confirm all PHM part numbers for 2002 4.7L timing belt change AND starter change out. Below is a comprehensive list of all parts NOT including the timing belt kit ($279) https://www.timingbeltkit.com/products/tbk-timing-belt-kit-toyota-tundra-2000-to-2006-4-7l

I’m locked and loaded for Black Friday Sales which may knock another 30% off. Hoping to score everything (pick up and out the door) from Stealer Programme for $1200 on sales.

Anyone have a link or short cut for the 4.7L Knock Sensor Wire Harness? Toyota Parts Guy says Toyota doesn’t sell it separately. He says find aftermarket. Can’t find anything for 4.7L. Its highly suggested to replace this by Parts Guy (Former Tech Guy). Someone here had an issue with their little harness piece when doing Knock Sensors. I agree and want to replace it.

    Part Number? Link? Anyone?

Knock sensor harness on the 4.7 I think is the whole engine harness.

You are correct as that is what he said and how he said it was sold. Its sold as the entire harness. Having not done this before, I did/do not know if there is a separate connector wire off the main harness as in/on other vehicles.

I’ll take your word for this that there is NOT a separate little connection harness.

I think that minivan could probably hold a whole slew of 15s and 18s. You might need a few more amplifiers though. :D

I have friends in Poway and most of my in-laws are in Miramar/Mira Mesa. I'm in Moorpark, its Ventura County but weather is pretty similar to SD.

I only really know a bit about citrus trees when it comes to fruit. As a kid we had damn near every fruit i can think of but it was my moms thing and I never learned from her.

I know a little about bananas because my brother has several in his yard. When they were smaller we used to crop them before the cold season and let them regrow the next Spring. When they get big enough they can handle the frigid California Winters. His never had fruit but from what I've heard they die after giving fruit.

I don't care much about the fruit. I would probably feed most of them to my puppy. I am trying to turn my plain backyard into a tropical escape over the next 2 years.

I bought one from toyota when I replaced mine years ago. I don't have a p/n though, and I think it was fo a vvti 4.7. It had a plug on the end i couldn't find in my harness so i ended up cutting and splicing it in.

Discovered a few answers today with regards to the Radiator questions from last week. The Made in Japan comes with a cap and the Canada ones don’t. Same Toy/Denso Product.

I think a new cap for radiator is like $15-$20 purchased separately.

Wonder if there is a quality difference of Japan VS Canada?

I realize one has to come from the other side of the world and thats where most of the extra cost comes from, but still the question remains...

You might try www.car-part.com - they have a running list of all salvage yards who participate, you can sort results by distance to find something possibly near you.

I’m looking for the full console (so newer than 02 I think) with the front and back. But all I can find is sequoia and double cab ones. Which don’t fit 100% color doesn’t matter. Dark grey is ideal

Honestly I was blacking out the interior. But the more I honk about it I’d really like to find a wreaked tundra and get the whole dark grey interior at this point. The blacks cool and all but it may not hold up how I like

Are you sure? I saw another member recently installed a full-length Sequoia console, they have a 2002. Seems like most of the Sequoia ones I'm seeing are brownish.

    eBay search these individually:

402342085082 (need to fix the latch, but that price is great)
    283897719689
    402342085082
    193365087047
    164236212663
    193390554510

This is maybe not interesting because it's small. I guess you could also ask the OP of that thread I linked if they'd part with theirs if you wanted the smaller one. This just looks really damn nice for the price.

My key fob only works within a few feet of the truck. 10-15 max and it's real inconsistent. Would replacing the battery help? Does anyone's work from a distance? I know the key fob changed with the newer first gens.

I can lock our Rav4 from the end of our block. Same with every other vehicle I've owned.

If you haven't changed your battery in several years, you may find it helps boost signal, but -

I'm not sure how Toyota handled it in our year vehicles. A lot of vehicles when I was working at an audio/tint shop used the external antenna. Some really stupid situations came out of using the external antenna, like having a loose antenna or removing the antenna entirely or replacing with kitschy bullet-shaped or tiny whip antennae could seriously impact your fob range.

Oh, and my favorite, one of the Honda Civic models in the 90s routed the fob entry functions through the radio HU, rather than bypassing it to use the antenna, so removing the factory stereo killed your keyless entry without some modification or just shoving the stereo behind the dash during upgrade.

I feel like when cars started going internal with the antenna, a lot of times running branches along the roof, reception became better. Maybe Gen1 runs through antenna. Is your radio reception poor? Antenna tight?

Most likely, changing the battery will help. It sure did with my Honda when I had the same issue.

Replace battery. One booster secret I learned years ago: Place fob up to chin fat just above throat. The signal boosts for an extra 10-20 feet of distance through your skull.

I think it's fine but I never use the radio, ever. I replaced the long whip style antenna with a stubby one last year. But this issue has been like this since I've owned the truck. I'll start with replacing the battery.

It can be made to work by the fit is meh to me. I’d prefer to just have the right one instead of just front clips and a rear bracket holding it in.

Plus I need the airbag switch cutout
