Was looking for a front bench seat but this might be better. Removed center console. Now we can fit 2 dogs. 2 kids and wife semi comfortably for going camping. Good thing our other dog is small.

Side question. Will a bench seat from same gen fit directly..bolt wise?

a bench will fit. you'll need to find it from an access cab if you want the middle seat belt to actually be there.. reg cabs had a belt on the rear wall of the cab

My 2007 is minus the back seats, and the front passenger seat. I say make like you want it

Just a thought, if you have to brake hard or get in an accident that dog is going through your windshield. Maybe ok for quick trips but I'd consider a more secure setup.

True. Thank you for pointing that out. He would be lying down mostly but its definitely still something to be aware of. Appreciate it!
