It is/was painful, but you do get used to it...

The funny thing is that you can change the NAV screen backlight to green if you'd like (which is freakin' weird to look at w/everything else being orange)

You neat and tidy fella's can be organizing wrenches so they all point the same direction, evenly spaced apart in their correct drawer but, I bet you're still missing a 10mm.

Nope, I still have all of my 10mm sockets.

Probably because I keep them organized so it's easy to find them.

Been trying to kick my garage up a notch, going slower than planned. Getting ready to paint and was thinking light grey walls in flat, white ceiling, and then door and trim in black. Also want to add some black trim around middle, kind of like chair railing I guess. Anyways, what sheen should I do all the black stuff in? Where's Darkness when you need him.....

door frames tend to get dirtiest & need the most scrubbing, so the glossier the better.

But door frames have to be white. Have to be. Like oxygenated air is required. White door frames are required on the same level. :anonymous:

Looking at ballistic backpacks. The rifle rated ones seem to cost a lot more than the hand gun rated ones.
I would think a handgun bullet takes more to stop it than a bunch of rifle shot. What am I missing?

I painted my garage and it made a huge difference. I have block walls so a cheap sprayer from Harbor Freight made it a lot easier.

Maybe try satin? It's easier to clean if it gets dirty.

Gloss or semi-gloss so you can more easily wipe off prints and other marks.

Any and all trim is done in semi-gloss. Always. Walls should be an eggshell unless its a kitchen or bathroom, then semi-gloss. ceiling is flat

It was one of my only criteria for a house. It's around 750 SQ ft. We park both vehicles in here. It's a basement ranch so the garage takes up about half of the basement with bedrooms above it. It stays fairly warm in the winter.

    (@des2mtn 's favorite ceiling texture) ^^^^^

My wife is still pissed that I got my garage and she didn't get anything on her list :D. This was the only house we could find in 2021. Now we're one of the people "locked in" at COVID interest rates.

    PXL_20230828_102120716.MP.jpg

It's on my list. I want to make sure I do it right so it doesn't come up.

I'd like to do SwissTrax but it's too expensive. Sure does look good though. If one breaks or you spill something, just pull it up and reinstall or replace.

I did webfoot concrete for the floors. I don’t get to park in the garage though. I got none of my garage / driveway wants with this house really. No basement either.

So far, you're doin it right then i guess. It'll never come up if it never goes down.:boink::rofl:

Yeah, who TF's garage is that. Let's take a moment and notice the nickel-gap paneling on the back wall, and the diamond plate door threshold..... the diamond plate covered fawking attic access door, 6" baseboards..... That is either a model, or a home of someone that doesn't make decisions by looking at price tags.

And where the hell is all your 'garage stuff'? I saw your dirtbike and one old cabinet. Are you even human?:monocle:
