I did. Thanks to @assassin10000 and others here.

They are posted in the alternator thread. I tagged @FirstGenVol in that.

Alternators are not hard to replace brushes in. I did that originally with crackie and slowly my lights started to flicker which is why I replaced the alt. Flicker went away and is slowly coming back just as before. Which makes me think grounding issue.

Crackie ain't eating nothing sitting in the yard where his "big" 4.7 can't suck gas but when he's needed. That 1.8L don't hurt the bottom dollar as much.

Also, side note, you can order brushes from Rock auto but I ordered a new brush from Toyota because I already had an order about to be placed at the time

First time towing anything real heavy today. 5000lb wood chipper up and down steep dirt grades and on highway. Ol' Tundie did great - with the muffler being cut off I sound like an 80mph X-Piped Mustang just I'm going 25mph through residential neighborhoods and backwoods. Fun!

Cleaned all the virus' windows except the front when I was clocked for lunch at work. I am so glad to have all that caked all dog slobber gone. Just gotta do the inside and the outside of the windshield tonight, and redo the rear interior glass.

That sprayway worked out good. I can't remember who reccod it

I ran out of time before I could get the front started so I left it. Not doing a partial job on one glass

It's the best. I won't use anything else. I was cleaning out the SHOs and found 3 more cans.

I see that. Here's the comparison between windshield and passenger window. You can see a little glare in the upper right hand corner of the picture from the clean as fuck window.

This is tint safe? I'd love to do the girls car but she's pretty particular about her windows and they don't really get dirty like mine do.

It contains no ammonia, so it's absolutely tint safe assuming you're only using it with a standard paper towel or blue paper shop towel, not anything that will scratch. But with tint, always follow-up with a CLEAN terrycloth towel once dry to polish out, and never use an abrasive, or cloth that may have sand, stiff fibers, or other things in it.

Now clean your f'n A-pillars you nasty bastard. You can actually use your now-wet towel saturated with Sprayway and wipe your plastics after. It would clear 95% of the crap I'm seeing on there within a couple of long, firm passes. Then follow-up with 303.

The other cool part about Sprayway is it deodorizes. The smell is almost identical to - but a fraction as strong - the smell of Toyota's HVAC system cleaner.

    Shoot the moon!

Local county is having a county wide baby shower tonight. Supposed to be giving out goodies and what not for free like a raffle or something. The girl and I are going. Hoping for any little thing that will help us out later.

Side topic, if anyone was thinking about getting Toytec coilovers, looks like they're running a 15% off sale starting tomorrow thru June 2nd...

You'd love the HVAC evap coil cleaning kit from Toyota then. It's like [Sprayway x 3] in your vents and the smell hangs around for at least a few days, if not a hint of it for a few weeks. This stuff.

Any “no rinse” evap foaming cleaning will work, some come with fancy flex nozzles, some just spray

To be fair, on the container it says safe for OEM tint but not safe for aftermarket tint. Not sure why but I remember reading it the other day.

The shop I worked at used it exclusively for all windows. Never had issues. We installed LLumar films exclusively. Still the only brand of film I'll use.

When I was in high school, a pack of Marlboro reds went for a buck, you could get Lucky unfiltered for 80-90¢ usually. And mini-thins were still legal to buy OTC, before the meth heads screwed it up for everyone.

I remember Camel bucks got huge also, like right around the time I graduated, then Marlboro came out with their own similar currency. Then Camel wides came out, and IIRC, camels at one point were selling in 2pk or 3pk, I don't remember but it was something gimmicky and it was $2-3 for whatever the bundle was. By the time smokes got over $2/pk I was quitting. By then, Parliaments were out, and the budget brand, but tasted like Marlboro ultra or whatever the silver pack was, so most of the ppl I knew bought those.

Giving up cancer sticks with SO was probably one of the best things I ever did. At this point, I'm far enough along that if I wanted to smoke one after a couple of beers, I can do it without wanting to go back to suckin on the 'ol tobacco dick. Had to be one of the better habits I gave up. Actually had myself convinced I "enjoyed it". Nothing like smoking the same crap gardeners have been using to kill insects in their gardens, before major pesticides came out.
