Took about 15 mins and 2-1/2 beers for me. Pulled the mudflaps and heated/rolled the front bumper liner forward a bit and bam. No more rubby.

For sure. My mods were a bit more involved than that, but there are so many variables when it comes to these trucks! It’s a good idea to have a long term vision when you start making modifications.

I'm still waiting on my Bilstein 6112's and Coachbuilder Shims & Shackles. My 6112's were supposed to be here 4 - 5 weeks ago, Coachbuilder should've shipped 3rd week of January..... I decided to go ahead and have my tires mounted (275/60R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler) and did a test fit. I'm rubbing at 3/4 turn with small front flaps removed, pretty much 1/4 turn in reverse. I've been taking it easy and just some minor rub marks so far.

Looks good! I was tempted to go with a dark matte bronze wheel and a tan Softopper. What size tires?

I have 35x12.50s on 0 offset but I did the BMC. I think you could get away with 33x12.50 on 0 offset and just trim plastic

You’re gonna have 100 pages of everybody on here telling you why it won’t work, but there’s a whole thread of people on 2-3” lifts with 37s, I don’t know why everybody who didn’t go bigger tires loves to tell others why their bigger tires won’t work. If you look at my build page you can see my 0 offset 35s and I’ve stuffed em offroad plenty and barely touch any plastic at any time.

Also it’s very popular to do a narrower stance setup with taller skinnier tires so you’re gonna get a lot of that on here, but I’m with ya I like a wide setup, I can’t imagine spending all that money and wanting it stock-ish.

Alright guys back to my lift and a little review after I feel it has settled..
Did the BMC but still rubs while in reverse. I’m experiencing a bumpy ride while on the highway that I’m not very thrilled with. Every now and then I’ll hear pops while turning or driving up inclines. Anyone with ideas at what to look at? what setting do you guys recommend on king remote adjustable reservoirs while commuting on regular roads (pavement)?

i'm sitting at 4/2. wheels are 12x9 w/ 0 offset. no bmc with 305/55/20's. what got rid of the rub in reverse for me were adjustable upper control arms. i went with total chaos uca's. sits flush with bushwacker pocket flares. 2+" inch poke with no flares.

nice! I do have camburg UCAs, I’ve read about going to a proper alignment shop and them possibly adjusting caster that helps the rubbing. Any insight?

can anyone chime in on this small issue I’m having? I’m getting some loud popping sounds when driving up inclines. I do see some evidence of rubbing but both on different sides of my truck.

this is my passenger side (is my sway bar link not looking right or just me?)

Damn, I knew that happened on 3" shocks, something's not right but I guess you could trim the sway bar ends a little, no idea what you can do with the links
