Does it feel like a bump? When was the last time you greased zerks and how old is the rear diff fluid?

I had this problem before they replaced the solenoid and took care of it and now it’s coming back

Have you ever done the trans fluid swap or change? Look at the zerks also.

To me, that does not seem like a transmission problem. I would check the zerks first. When they get low, they can produce a bump.

What zerks are you referring to? My truck makes a little extr clunk sometimes after coming to a stop. I thought it was my pads holding on a little extra or something, but after reading this I wonder if I’m in need of some lubing.
What’s a standard greasing entail? I just bought a Chilton guide but haven’t figured that out yet.

It's essentially the slack being taken up in the driveline which is made more noticeable by the fact we have 2 piece drive shafts. I've had a 2002, 2005 and 2006 Tundra...both access cab and DC...they all did it. Some people report temporary fixes of lubing the driveline where there are zerks fittings...but it's really nothing to worry about other than being annoying.

Zerks are the grease fittings that your grease gun snap onto. I'm having the same issue as you. Try greasing all the U Joints first and see if that eliminates the problem. If not more troubleshooting may be needed.

That, and check for play in the driveshaft itself. Check your carrier bearing too while your under there.

I had the same “bump” in my truck. I had my transmission fluid changed today and I didn’t notice it on the drive home. I’m wondering if it was low for some reason. I bought the truck used back in October with 94K, so I have no idea when it was replaced last.
