My '24 Limited TRD OR lost the cameras temporarily this morning when I pulled into a diner. Screen went black. First time for me with only 3800+ miles. No views at all. I shut off the engine and started it back up and cameras came back. Don't know what happened but will keep an eye on eye on it.

Good afternoon all, just got back from the dealer and my 10k service. My cameras are fixed again.
Take this for what it’s worth, they attributed the loss of the predictive lines to a signal loss from a low voltage situation. They tested my battery and it tests good but the system shows a low voltage scenario and that causes a loss of signal to the camera module. When it happens the camera module shuts down and needs to be re-initialized…
Wish there was a way to re-initialize it ourselves!

Same thing happened to me. First time happened yesterday at 3500 miles. Camera's worked when I started the truck and continued to work until I got to work and attempted to park. Put truck in "R" and nothing. Screen was black. Put it back into "D" with brake on and screen was black. THe 360 was also black. Turned engine off and back on and camera's came back.

Next time try pushing in the volume knob a few seconds to reboot the screen. Momentary press will mute the audio.

Today my 2024 Platinum with 10,400 miles just lost the backup camera guide lines and low speed camera switching. Calling service department Monday to take it in and showing them this thread.

Well this sucks. I just brought home a 2023 SR5 last night and this happened today. First day!

My bumper to bumper warranty is expired based on miles @ 42k. I wonder if I can get the selling Chevy dealer to cover the repair… I imagine an ecu is going to be pricey.

edit* to clarify I lost my backup lines. I don’t think the sr5 trim has any other views.

edit** I’m dumb my tailgate was ever so slightly ajar. It makes the lines disappear.

Well, welcome me to the club.
Backed up yesterday and noticed no lines on camera.
Camera view screen looks like photo that swageit posted.

Another thread for the same problem: https://www.tundras.com/threads/fixed-trailer-backup-guide-camera-errors.133688/
Seems most people had this problem early on. It took 15K miles before it showed up for me.
Also looks like a not so uncommon problem for 2024s.
Many complain it happened after heavy rain or car wash.
Might be the genesis of my problem as it has been raining here nearly nonstop for a week.
I bet a lot of owners have this problem and just don’t realize it.

I am dreading taking to the dealer based on other’s experiences.

Finally made it to the dealer to fix this.
Here is what was on the invoice (no charge as under warranty):

Btw, it took them an hour and 45 minutes to fix.

    .

I have this same issue about 10 times in 1 year owning my '24 Limited. Just like how your PC works - Reboot - retry => it works but it might fail again.

Not the same problem but I started getting warnings that the pre-collision systems, auto headlights and cruise were disabled and see a dealer. I had a new windshield put in around this time so figured it was either the glass or the calibration. Long story short satellite got me a oem windshield and it didn’t fix it. The camera in the windshield was determined to be bad by my Toyota dealer. At 75K miles my dealer got Toyota to replace it and recalibrate it free of charge, BTW that’s a $2500 job through the dealer. All good now.

I had a similar problem where my 2024 TRD OR LMTD stopped recognizing most of the cameras. I took it in to the shop for the 10K service and they reloaded the cameras without the multi terrain monitor feature that comes with the OR package. I also noticed I lost the ability to setup trailers. It has been in for its 15K service for 2 weeks and the local dealership cannot figure out the problem. Hopefully they can finally fix the window rattle issue while it is in there. Other than these problems I love the truck.
