I live near sea tac airport wa. State. I’m looking for someone to install a great sounding cat back BORLA exhaust system for my 2003 Toyota tundra.

Is there a reason you want to go cat-back? There's virtually no performance increase at all, you're just changing noise and there's plenty of other far less expensive ways to change your exhaust note.

Before you commit, you may want to listen to some samples and hear some feedback. A lot of folks complain about excessive drone, noise, etc. at speed with some cat-back kits and mufflers, but managed to make their trucks sound nice and aggressive without installing anything more than a new muffler.

I agree and certainly getting good sounding exhaust is the goal. Wish I’d have left stock one on ! But to your point, yes I just want someone to provide info. On exactly what they’ve done that they’re happy with. You would think as many of these trucks that are on the road someone could just say “you want to go see these guys “ there’s got to be a muffler shop near me that takes pride on installing great sounding exhaust on 4.7 v8

Yeah, even if there was, in our post-lockdown world, everything in the service industry has changed, so any shop worthwhile prior may suck after. Doesn't feel like anyone takes much pride in anything lately, and that's not political banter by any stretch. (No politics rule in effect here)

Before you decide, I'd check that thread I linked. Read thru it. Listen to sound clips. Pay attention to who complains about drone. When you find a couple you like, then hunt a shop who sells/installs. But cat-back is pretty much bolt-on with basic tools ... do you really need a shop?

Note there's localized forums on here, you may be able to find some folks with more localized shop experience. This is the base of the PACNW forum: https://www.tundras.com/forums/north-west-u-s.38/

Thank you, as I’m just beginning this quest it’s much appreciated. Yes cat backs are very easy. I’m retired Sheetmetal mechanic 42 years. Can weld-fab pretty much anything……. Blindfolded but battery operated tools and brown bear car wash…….and muffler shops have been cool discoveries in retirement. I have 235 K on this truck and I’m original owner. I want to keep it just to see how long it’ll last. Again thanks for link I’ll ck. Them out.

I can confirm the cab drone around 2k rpms is a big reason why I'll be trying something else in the near future...might try a 12" bolt on option from Dirty Deeds Industries, or just ger back to stock.

Don't remember the model names, but I went magnaflow first. Sounded great, like a f'n monster truck when you got on it, but the cab drone was too much. Took it back and the shop swapped to a dynomax at no charge. More of a hot-rod sound now, but still too much cab drone for me...albeit slightly less than the magnaflow.

FYI, the cab drone is 5x more noticeable in the drivers seat. Passengers usually ask what I'm complaining about lol.
