My rims can't get here quick enough so I can get my freaking Falkens on.

It's killing me to walk by and see them in the sunroom, while I drive around or snowy & icy roads on my stock BFG Duehlers. :annoyed:

Awesome, thanks. I am getting the same tire in 255 and was curious how they would look.

Had them on my turd gen Tacoma. Honestly loved them. Did great in the deep & soft sand in the OBX, amazing in rain, & did fantastic in the snow. I would buy another set in a heart beat and will be when my stockers are done

I see some members have these tires with raised letters out and some in (flushed), does the Falkens have a certain directional pattern or needs to installed a certain way? Just something I noticed. Thx

    It may be size specific.

My tires were all the same, unidirectional.

None directional, one side has raised letters and an aggressive side wall and the other less aggressive.
go see them in person and you will see the difference.

    I did not know that.

Time to check my tires and see which way the shop put them on...pretty sure I have aggressive out, but I'm curious to see the difference.

I believe its just the lettering that's different. One side has the raised lettering, the other side is normal. When I had my 20's , they were mounted with the normal side out. When I upgraded to the 17's they mounted the aggressive letters out.

Wow those tires look awesome ! I'm guessing that you are happy with them as you bought them twice? I haven't heard a bad thing about the wildpeaks. Tough choice between these and cooper at3s

Those were the two on my short list as well.

It came down to tread warranty, snowflake rated and availability. The Falkens won out.

Has anyone had any trouble getting their Wildpeaks balanced? The reason I ask is because Last week I went from 275’s to 295’s (both Wildpeak’s). The 275’s I had balanced fine with standard sticky weights and were smooth as glass while driving. When I went to the 295’s for some reason they decided to throw bead bags in them instead of using the standard sticky weights. Needless to say its been a horrible driving experience with steering wheel shakes starting at about 40mph and only gets worse as I increase speed. I called the shop and the tech obviously didn’t want to deal with it because he was saying things like “You know those are really aggressive tires.” Yes I know, thanks for pointing that out. “You have after market wheels, right?” No, I have stock TRD Pro forged wheels. and “Those will probably take so much sticky weight that it will go all the way around the rim.” Mkay?!? And “If I use to much weight it might hit the brake caliper.” Um.. if you have to use that much weight than you don’t know what your doing. And then, “Sticky weights might not adhere to the wheel because they’re conical (he didn’t actually use that term but thats what he was trying to describe to me o_O)shape on the inside part of the rim.” Um, no they’ll stick fine considering thats how the factory tires are balanced.
Geesh!! This guy does not want to work or put any effort into making it right! At the end of all his excuses I said, listen… These are the same exact tires as the ones they replaced, just a little bigger. Can we just dismount the tires, take the damn bead bags out and just start over by giving them a traditional balance with sticky weights?? He finally agreed and I’m taking it in tomorrow. At this point I really don’t even want him working on it, but I shouldn’t have to take it somewhere else and have to pay for something that they didn’t do right the first time. Sorry for the long rant. So back to my question; Has anyone had problems getting these tires balanced? I want to be armed with some knowledge and other people experiences with these so I can shut him down again tomorrow if he continues with excuses.

I have 295/70R18 and haven't had issues with balancing, aside from a mild shudder around 55-60 MPH. I do notice some temporary vibration from flat spotting if the truck sits a day or two, but it goes away pretty quick. Discount Tire used sticky weights with no issues.

I just put these on last week. 2021 Limited Nightshade edition. Falken Wildpeak 305/65r18 on Method NV305s. So far everythings great. I do need to push in the front fender a bit to mitigate some rubbing when the wheel is fully turned (especially in reverse).

I'm debating fender flares. Sort of feels like a whole lot of tire and there's definitely been a few rocks getting kicked up on the running boards. What do you guys think? Any recommendations on a clean fender flare?

Back when I bought them on wife's Supercrew and my old f250 they were cheap. Just priced some e rated 295/60r20 and 275/65r20 and it was 1500-1600 bucks! No thank you.

Sick I am really loving the look as well. May I ask what size you have on for this picture? And how do you like them so far in the Tundra?

Been running these for 4 years with about 45 k miles on them. They are 10 ply and though as nails. I still have a solid year left on them. No issues. Great in snow and mud. They were quiet for the first 25k miles but have been getting a bit louder over time. The tread is very aggressive. Look great still.
I am running 33 inch tire on a 2016 with 18 inch rims. They fit without mods, but you will need to bend the front little mud flap forward and I had to trim a small section of the undercarriage shield.

Wow I am thinking about getting the 275/55/20 for the Wildpeak T3W. So I would def need to bend the front mud flap and trim the small section of the undercarriage shield?
