You will like the swing case. I've got them for both sides of my truck and love them. I was able to get rid of the tool box in the back of my truck that took up too much space.

The A pillars are prepped for suede wrap and install.

Options were to not use the handles and just mold it with Bondo or use the cut handle ends and shape into place and fill oem holes with hot glue, which is what I did.
Next post should be install pics :fingerscrossed:

Before I purchased my Tundra second-hand, I always thought that bed covers were silly. When I picked my truck up, it had one installed. I decided to try it out for a while and it's been there ever since. If nothing else, it keeps me from having to shovel the snow out of the bed when I need it. It just gets brushed off the cover when the rest of the truck is cleared.

Silly stuff, but I added some chains in the bed for tie down points. When hauling bikes, propane tanks or anything else you want to keep in place in your bed. Also added an overlay to my steering wheel. 2D010C26-928D-4741-BF2C-A6812E832B2A.jpg

Once I get some warmth here in the mountains I'll be doing this. Parts are in my shed but having no garage= weather dependent tinkering days...

Right there with ya! I miss a garage, or just a concrete pad.
The most difficult part for me was getting the fuel pump driver bolted back up with the brackets..

Just got these bright af LEDs installed the other night. Super easy install. All I had to do was wire into the reverse lights and use an angle grinder to cut out the backing of the leds to mount them flush on the bumper. These flush mount lights are cheap on Amazon. If you don't already have this mod and you have crap reverse lights like me do it!!!!

Changed my oil with M1 0w20 and gear oil... Also found out that my transmission pan is leaking around the drain hole... May need to do a drain and refill with new crush washer soon. Maybe the reason it started shifting a little rougher.

Completed the dash side of fog light install on grade seriers bare bones no fogs truck. I now have a functional switch, fused, and no OEM wiring was adulterated for this mod. Just a single wire pulled from a connector. A success IMO.

Hopefully I'll make a 2023 'how to' for trucks never equipped.

Used the truck to take some scrap to the recycler's and payed attention to the weight, and discovered the truck, with myself, the dog and half a tank of gas weighs 6600lbs!

Oh, and I made an appointment to have the glass tinted with ceramic tint.

finally done with pillars, I like the YotaTwins handles bc of the D rings or whatever but could switch it up later if I want.

I do like the tailgate handle for those times I’m in the bed and wanna close the tailgate and it detaches and can be used as something else randomly.

    B pillars are next.

Got a Cali Raised LED bedrail hardware kit to mount my old bike fork blocks. I had to drill out the blocks to 3/8". The fit is great, the only thing I don't like is how thin the aluminum backer nuts are. There are really on 3 turns worth of threads......in aluminum.

I tightened them enough to compress the lock washer then stopped tightening. They do feel solid...

My bike is older (spy the mech disk brakes), but it's always been such a solid ride that I don't feel the need to upgrade.

The chrome delete begins! Why it had 3 black handles and two chrome handles is beyond me. Chrome handles are gone.

Note to others - on the drivers side, do not tighten the handle in place. Just insert it, install the bolt and fit the end cap. If the handle is locked in place, the end cap bolt may not align. It's about 20 min a door. Maybe less if you don't polish the nail scratches out while the handles are off.
Oh, and pop the puddle lights out freeing the wire and if you don't want to fight the door lock wire harness, have some bungie cords handy to secure the door panel to the A-pillar grab handle.

    20230429_153619.jpg

Are the door panel emblems just double sided tape? And what about the Toyota on the tailgate? Tape or pins? Some might just go away...
    Trucks a 2010.

    Thanks!

Got my black matte logos for the doors and tailgate and plan on installing them soon as well. But next weekend already has its own truck project lined up, installing an aftermarket head unit and backup camera.
