Like the title suggests. I just ordered JBA shorty titanium coated shorty headers. Got a sweet 20% off deal at Autozone.com. Now I need the rest of the parts for the install

    Backstory
The truck is a 2000 Tundra Access Cab V8 4X4 with 130k miles. I bought the truck brand new in 2000. I then sold it to my father and bought an F250 to tow a toy hauler. My 20 year old son just bought it back from my father. All major maintenance was recently done, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, trans service, etc.

My son lives in Flagstaff Arizona and it gets quite cold at night. This has made the ever present exhaust manifold leak go from a mild ticking to a rattling of the heat shield when first started in the morning. Time to replace the exhaust manifolds.

I just purchased a set of JBA Shorty titanium ceramic coated headers. The truck is registered in California and has to have CARB approved exhaust. This is why I went with the JBA. I am going to have a local shop install them. I typically do most of the work on my own vehicles. However, I watched the install videos on YouTube and don't want to deal with it. I am in a good place financially and would rather just pay someone else to deal with this.

My question is this. I want to provide the shop with all the OEM gaskets, new studs and lock nuts. Can someone help me with the exact part numbers I will need? I also know I need two header gaskets, what about collector gaskets, 16 studs, how many lock nuts 16 + how many extra to hook up the collectors? So how many will I need in total? The lock nuts shown on Yotashop.com, Toyota OEM Exhaust Nut 90080-17187,
shows that they are not for my tuck on McGeorge Toyota. What about O2 sensors, they are working fine at the moment, should I just replace them at the same time? Brand? Any guidance will be of great help. Want to order ASAP, so I can have all the parts ready and minimize the downtime in the shop. I hope to get this repaired when my son comes home for spring break.

    Thanks,
    B888s

    O2 sensors first....
Personally, I would be giving thought to at least purchasing them given many of our parts are reaching the NLA(no longer available). You'll want to consider as close to OEM as possible given Toyota Engineers created ECU map settings to achieve proper fuel management. You'll also see many folks here mention DO NOT buy cheap when purchasing parts....heed that suggestion !

    Definitely visit above link provided.

Once at parts.toyota.com ,it helps if you put in your VIN #.
In your case in regards to exhaust parts, there is not a difference whether you have SR5 or Limited but knowing which one you have will help if asking for assistance at later date on parts that do matter.

Below pic is for Limited and chose exhaust studs as an example. They help out when you click on the red circled part by already telling you 16 are needed.
In any case, I attached a SR5 parts layout pic just for comparison.

Thanks for the links and assistance so far. It was just a shot in the dark to see if anyone already had a list.

I currently own and maintain three Toyota trucks, but spend most of my time of Tacoma world. My sons new truck has had me here more and more often.
    2000 Tundra
    2006 Tacoma Off Road PreRunner
    2022 Tacoma TRD Pro

Thanks again for the links. I have started making my own list of needed parts from the diagrams. I will come back with some questions about specific parts later and hopefully have a list for others if they need it.

Parts are here. Supposed to go in the shop week after next to get installed. Was quoted $625 for install. Possibly more if any of the studs break or need replacing. Will report back once installed.

Shiiit, for quality work with a warranty... I'd have thrown $625 at it too. Were they close on actual cost compared to quote?

$625 out the door. I supplied all the parts. Best parts was no bloody knuckles. My family has used this shop for years.

Next up is a small lift, wheels, and tires. He needs to save up for a while before that happens.

Here is a pic of the truck.

Nice! just my $0.02, but I'd just do 2.5" ish lift in the front and leave the rear alone. 285/75R16 or 285/70R17 will fit with the correct wheel backspacing. Whatever you buy, don't get Rancho QuickLifts or Rough country N3s.

For the lift stuff, check out the "Suspension, wheel and tires ..." section in this thread. It lays out a lot of considerations to make, extras you'll need, etc.
