Baja Designs is proud to introduce our newly developed 3rd Generation Toyota Tundra Vent Lighting kits. At Baja Designs, we strive to innovate lighting options and mounting locations that go above and beyond. This lighting kit features two versions, Our triple S1 option, or our dual Squadron setup in the factory grill vent locations. This Lighting option will feature full vertical and horizontal adjustability to optimize your lighting output.


Baja Designs Dual Squadron Vent Kit


The dual Squadron setup will be available in 3 variants depending on the package and lighting output you seek. The photos below feature a Squadron Pro/ Squadron Sport per side allowing you to toggle between the two lights when needed.






Baja Designs Triple S1 Vent Kit


The triple S1 kit will feature 3 S1 pushing out 2320 lumens per light or a whopping total of 13,920 lumens. This lighting kit will offer full horizontal and vertical adjustability giving you the option to aim these lights where desired.





All kits will have great accessibility for any lens changes or possible Rock Guard additions featuring our lighting Uservice

Don’t own the newest Gen but that triple S1 is really sweet!

How hard is it to get a high beam output signal to set these up as on/off/auto high beam configuration? Has anyone done this yet or dabbled in it? Kit looks awesome even if manually switched.

I too would like to wire it like that.

That's always easy. I have 3 squadron pairs on a raptor and all 3 have different switches. No problem.

 

I’m so glad I didn’t sell the squadrons from my Raptor yet! Hell yea! Now I need you to make brackets for double squadrons and S1 per side

Any info available on how much air flow interruption to the intercooler radiators those lights will cause?

Reducing the cubic feet of air per minute to those rads seems like a poor idea.

 

From my understanding and having the grill off those vents don’t direct flow into anything, the intercooler doesn’t even touch them- the scoops go into the massive grill

Now that I think about it, the giant grill probably lets in plenty of air, so probably just costmetic? How does one even test it those are functional?

So basically, on a non premium headlights, you can tap into the 12volt HIbeam the old school way?

From what we have collected from developing the kit, those vents don't have a direct flow to the intercooler. The difference in airflow will be limited to none after installing this kit @Coal Dragger.

if you look at how the IC plastic housing box is angled towards the vent, i would suspect that vent feeds the IC

 

I'm sure these are for off-road use, not to light up the road while you're driving.

 

The version seen in the post is not DOT-legal. There will be a version of the dual Squadrons that will feature our new Squadron SAE in on of the locations @Bourbonator.

It is still in development. We are working out some kinks with the hardware but it will be released very soon.
