For those of you that work out, what lifting program are you doing? Pro's,con's? I just started a stupid 20 rep full body program and I'm not sure I want to keep destroying myself. I was doing 5x5 for a year but got bored.

I did the ThunderBros program which is 12 or 13 weeks, three workouts a week, 8 movements per workout, all 8x8s with 30 seconds rest between sets. It was sufficiently awful for me, and I saw good results from it.

There is a guy I’ve been following for years named Julian Smith. He creates a brand new workout every day. I played D1 soccer so I have been around the gym my entire life. I would pick up tips from him via IG. Since graduating and still into fitness and playing, I’ve been doing my own workouts picking up tips and exercises to switch things up from other main stream trainers. I believe Julian has the best program and community that I have seen. I learned the concept of time under tension from him.

    Pros:
    -$6 per month
    - new workout every day. He actually does them himself
    - the FB group for subscribers is very informational where no question is a dumb question. People as about dieting and form
    - he post more info on his IG every day as to which muscles are being activated for said workout
    - he responds to you personally and if people aren’t feeling a certain exercise, he switches it up.
    - his app has everything you could need with demo videos and nutrition

I’ve been doing his program for over a year and have leaned up and gained muscle. I started actually counting macros and not calories. Once I made that change it made a huge difference. The app has a built in rest timer and set and rep counts.

BEST PART IS THAT ITS ONLY $6 A MONTH!!
