Well, I was able to do an update and get rid of “S”cout icon on the screen. I thought the update would also help with connectivity issues, but it didn’t. For some reason the unit will not connect to my phone automatically. I have automatic connection on, so I’m at a loss right now

Know my iPhone will not link automatically unless both Wifi and Bluetooth are on. Also, make sure the phone is connected via Bluetooth in the Bluetooth menu. Hang in there. Hope it gets resolved for you.

If this is for CarPlay, I've had to go to settings, remove carplay, then re-select the zlink connection. I've also found that if I'm still connected to my home's wifi when I start my car which is usually in the garage, then I cannot connect to carplay wirelessly. I usually now will start the car, pull out to the end of the street, and then open carplay which will connect wirelessly.

Cool thing is you can set zlink to auto run, in a preset amount of time, to accommodate ur needs....if ur using the Agama launcher, that is

Agree, like Agama for this reason. Not sure if other launchers do similar things, but you cannot beat Agama for the money in my opinion.

Another Scout and Vivid firmware update this month, guessing its fixing some bugs and what not. Just updated today, everything seems to be working fine. Also for those running Scout, after you update frimware connect your unit to wifi, and press the scout icon and check for updates, there's an update for scout itself too.

Which mounting kit should I use for the 10.2 unit Metra or Scoshe?
I’ve read where people have complained about their radio squeaking and am wondering if one is better than the other?
Since I’m blacking out my interior and if all things are equal, I would get the Scoshe since it’s black.
    What say you?

    Thanks!

Anybody add a lockscreen? I got the idea since Scout had a pin lock for valet. Anyway, thought it was cool, and when the option happened to pop up I added one. Now I hate it with a passion. Anybody experience this and find a way to turn it off? Googling around I found that it is so embedded that it cannot be changed. Options on my android cell are not in the android HUs. Some people installed a third party app to turn it off. I just tried updating the max10 version, without a wipe, to no avail. I might have to reformat the HU or look for an app. Any help is appreciated!!

Btw, more firmware updates on the dasaita website. Even access to max11 is there.

I just placed my order for the 10.2 double din. My tuck is a 21 and is non JBL, no nav but does have the amp under the passenger seat. Does anyone have a photo of the back of their stock head unit? Dasaita store messaged me asking for one.

    Thanks

Email Dasaita support or wherever you purchased it from. I ended up buying the wrong one the first time but the Amazon store sent me the correct one.

I ended up using the external microphone at a later date. Seems to pick me up better now Va the small mic on the front of the radio.

    Thanks for the rep[lies
I did order it from Amazon, first time they sent me the wrong wiring harness and returned it, second time just yesterday, they sent me the same HU with the same ISO harness like the first one. If I decide to keep this HU I will have to buy more parts just to get it to work. LOL this is really confusing me.
I may just send this one back, and get the 13" because it says in description it is for 2016 tundra, and comes with the correct harness, haven't made up my mind yet. Really like the 11" having a hard time finding all the right added parts to get it wired up.

Hey guys need a little help here. So I’ve got no reverse after hooking it up like this. At first I had nothing upon start up. The only change in the picture is that I hooked up the gray & took out the black from factory harness & now it’ll turn on. A lot of stuff isn’t even used????

I couldn’t get wifi to save my life. Zlink won’t work at all, I just get error codes. My assumption is I connected the wifi antenna into the gos antenna by accident? It makes that big of a diff? I know zlink requires wifi but my phone was in the truck inches away from the HU & still nothing.

    So questions:
I saw a cord that said “connect this to C2 if you want manual reverse” or something along those lines. It was already connected to C1 so I left it. Do you think if I connect that to C2 or whatever it says, reverse will kick on? I thought this was plug n play lol.

Do you think wifi will magically work if I change the connector I have it in now?

Also, I didn’t really tighten it down with the slide plates on the unit but it’s wobbling pretty bad. I mean it’s solid, but it’s wobbling with an idle only. It clipped in up top and everything cuz I had to run & go do something but it was noticeable while I was driving. I know I wouldn’t be able to take it if I were watching any video of some sort. Any tips to get the large screen locked in better?

Ok I’ve got CarPlay & wifi. Now I just need the reverse cam. I got nothing. I unhooked the cord from c1 & hooked it to c2 for “connect with c2 for manual reverse enable” I have an RCA that says “cam video in” but I have nothing to plug it into. Any help? It’s a 2021 I thought some of guys had these in 21s without problem?

I have an older truck, and the 10.2”, but it looks to me your missing a harness that would connect to one of the ports next to that purple connector in your last image.
