In the HU go to Settings / Apps & notifications then scroll down to and click on Default Apps (Google is prob listed). Agama should be listed. Select it as default launcher and you shouldn't have any more problems reverting back to another launcher.

Ok I’ll give it a try. But in the Agama launcher when I select radio it brings up the Max 10 radio. I’m just not a fan of how that looks.

Have you tried different can buss settings? There should be several for Toyota and I just tried them all until I found the one that worked.

I haven’t tried any others as the seller from the dasaita Amazon store instructed me to use option #8.

I’d try the others and see. Pretty sure I had the same issue with other CANbus settings that didn’t work for my truck. I have the JBL OEM system.

Went through all that mentioned anything about Toyota and unfortunately no luck. I don’t have the JBL system. I left a message with the dasaita seller. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon so if any others with a 2021 or any with the newer 7 inch screen can learn. I’m the Guinea pig. Thank you though!

Hmmmm…. Thought I could help you out but guess not.

I did find this in the forum. Do you still have an amp for the non-JBL systems?

Anyone know if you can enable/disable the beep the car makes when you lock the doors with the remote fob? I've tried looking under car settings but I don't see anything about tones, like it does in the manual about the OEM head unit : https://www.toyota.com/owners/resources/warranty-owners-manuals.tundra.2014 (page 530).

My lights still flash when I lock/unlock the door, so I'm pretty certain it's not a lock sticking/door lock actuator issue

My "beep" stopped working after installing my Daisata unit. I don't know whether there is a setting on the head unit for that or not. Frankly I like it without the lock beep. The lights still flash and that's good enough for me.

Just wanted to throw my installation out there. I already have a Dasaita in my Subaru WRX STI and dealt with Iris previously, so I emailed her to make sure I get the correct unit & purchase directly from their store.

I have a 2019 Toyota Tundra SR5 TRD Offroad w/ the amplifier under the passenger seat. My Entune was non-JBL and non-Navigation. I previously replaced the amplifier with the Alpine KTP-445U amp.

She directed me to get: https://www.amazon.com/Dasaita-Screen-Android-Navigation-Meomery/dp/B09J2K1LXR/

So far everything has been running as expected. I was also excited to see the headunit properly integrated with the truck where it displays the door open warnings, I can access the fuel economy settings like the Entune unit (which I never used, but still cool it's in there) and the vehicle settings applications.

I ended up just using the GPS puck included with the radio and mounted it under my dash. I had a non-navigation Entune, but I assume I still have a factory GPS puck on the top of the truck that I could have gotten an adapter.

Not sure about the later years, but in 2017 the GPS module was under the dash behind the radio. That 'bump' on the top of the Tundra's roof was for XM Radio. I would think that the stock GPS unit still remained under the dash in later years.

Well TIL -- I figured it was a dual mount antenna on the roof. The puck included with the Dasaita is getting clear signal where I mounted it under the dash so I'll just leave it be. Thank you!

All of the 'wireless' icons are in the 'waiting for connection' portion of Zlink. You can update your version of Zlink to make it work if you don't see these below (not my picture, but you get the idea):

Do you remember if it stopped working immediately after installing the Dasaita unit? From my memory I think I still had the beeps for a while, so I'm wondering if it's just coincidence that my beeper unit went bad, or if it really is because of the new head unit.

Yep. My "newer" version doesn't have wireless AA on the max10 rom that came with my unit. Still haven't had time to try vivid rom.

I'm kind of torn between getting the Dasaita 10.2 or 11inch or the Joying. I'm curious if both are the same just different brand name? I'm going to hopefully place my order for one of the two this week and see a lot of info on here once I try to set it up.

One question I did have was do these retain factory rear camera? or should I buy an after market one instead?

Do you have your phone connected via BlueTooth? I didn't even realize I had wireless carplay. I connected the phone via BlueTooth to the headunit and suddenly Zlink popped open and brought my wireless carplay. I also changed the BlueTooth on my phone to show the device as a "Car Radio" under the BT settings.

It should use the factory backup camera.

There's some posts in here saying the two HU's have differences. I don't recall what they are but I didn't lose anything in my 08 Sequoia Ltd when going to the Dasaita EXCEPT fader controls - which does stink. I have the JBL premium set (drawing a blank on correct name). Only recommendation is to order from the Dasaita store on Amazon and one you have your order placed go to the Dasaita store and message them pics of the front and back of your HU and vehicle year and model. Iris took care of everything for me to ensure I had all the correct parts (which involved ordering separately the correct canbus for another $60).

Hello all, long time reader but first time poster.
I have a 2013 Tundra, Platinum with Factory Nav, Backup Cam, JBL amp.
    I recently ordered the following:
Amazon.com: Dasaita 10.2 inch Touch Screen 1 din Android 10.0 Car Stereo for Toyota Tundra 2007 to 2013 and Sequoia 2008 to 2018 Radio GPS DSP 4G Ram 64G ROM Bluetooth Navigation Carplay Android Auto : Electronics

Amazon.com: Dasaita CB005 Power Cable w/CAN-Bus Adapter for Car Radio Installation Fit for Lexus GX470 & Toyota car from 2006 to 2011 to Support JBL Amplifier Radio Antenna Canbus Decoder Car Stereo Wire Harness : Electronics

This was all that was needed to get everything working. It took some time to get the amp settings in the new stereo to actually add base to the audio... but once I figured it out, it sounded much better than OEM. The backup camera was a pain, but I figured out the green trigger wire and was able to splice in the orange wire from the CB005 harness into the Green reverse trigger wire coming from the truck harness. Once I spliced this in, everything worked as it should.

I ordered an HD backup camera as well so the resolution is much better than the OEM camera offers. THis is a must have for the new high res screen on this head unit.

I downloaded AGAMA launcher for the stereo and it seems to work very well. CarPlay is what I primarily use (with WAVE for navi).
Factory USB ports are NOT operational...but that's only because I didn't hook them up. You can get these to work with an adapter. I ran the 3 USB's down under the HVAC controls and under the cup holders.... not currently accessibly while driving but very easy to access if I wanted to get to them or add a port somewhere.

Just figured I should share the positive review on this.

Also- Iris was VERY responsive and helpful. Just reply to the email that it generates to your Amazon email address and you will get a response back around 9pm EST consistently.

    I purchased this one:
2007-2013 Tundra OEM HD Camera Kit | Tailgatecamera.com

pricey, but it was full OEM integration. Plugged into the factory plug behind the bumper. Just had to run the wire inside the tailgate. Replaced the OEM handle as well (which was great for me because my OEM camera mount had broken). Full disclaimer, it appears that they just have a custom bracket and OE plug for a nice HD camera that they integrate into the OE handle and sell as a package/upgrade.

    Hey guys/gals,
I have a 2020 Tundra and connected everything up with no problem except for the typical rear speakers not working. I have two connectors (as shown) without a home and was hoping you could help out. I tried changing my canbus settings to no avail and now I’m stuck. I’ve reached out to Dasaita but they don’t seem to have an answer. It looks like I do have an amplifier beneath the passenger seat so I’m guessing one of these plugs powers the back speakers. I just don’t know how to connect them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I can take one tomorrow. I didn't take a picture of the image quality with the new HU and stock back up camera though, but can provide a picture of how it looks now with the new HU and new backup cam.

possibly might have the wrong CANbus if there's no connector for that one on it.

thanks! this looks loads better than the OEM. Now I'm wondering if it's possible to utilize the original handle but swap over JUST the camera...
