What’s the deal with OEM tow mirrors? Called my local dealer and they said Toyota doesn’t make them for a 2017 Tundra...

Try calling a different dealer. I have them for my 2016. They fit 17, too.

I just installed a set this wknd, should be the same for the third gens. Mine are on my 2018. I ran into the same issue here, they ‘umm’ed for 20 mins then said they cant find them, I called back with the PN and they went ‘oh there they are!’ o_O They also wanted $70 per mirror more than I paid. Pass.

All Hail @RainMan_PNW - and FYI @CheeseTaco02 - in my mind blowing search for more information both of these wheels are manufactured by BBS and are forged aluminum wheels. The PT960-34200-02 is the TRD 18" Forged BBS® Matte Black Alloy Wheels sold as a TRD accessory for any Tundra or Sequoia. As Toyota Parts states:
"Give your Tundra a custom look by outfitting it with the TRD 18" Forged BBS® Matte Black Alloy Wheels
    • Manufactured to Toyota’s demanding specifications by well-known performance wheel maker BBS
    • Designed to achieve proper weight, offset and brake clearance
    • Developed by TRD to help ensure proper fit and reliable performance under demanding conditions"
The PT960-34190-F2 is the official Special Edition TRD Pro wheel on TRD Pro units. As Toyota Parts says:
"This is a TRD PRO wheel service part."

Aside from the notations on the wheels as Casey stated, they appear to be the same wheel with a $200 MSRP per wheel (discounted $60 per wheel) difference in cost. Any reason to pay the extra $240?

If you’re buying a new set of wheels and not trying to build an “authentic” TRD Bro, then get the cheaper ones. If you’ve got TRD Pro wheels already and are buying a fifth wheel for your spare, or you just GOTTA have the authentic TRD Pro wheels (and can’t find a set of take-offs locally for a reasonable price), get the expensive ones.

Does anyone know where to purchase Flat/Matte black door handle covers for keyless entry? I tried Sparks and Cool Springs, neither have them. I was told they are aftermarket. I've looked all over the internet and am coming up with nothing. If this is not the right thread, please forgive me. I'm new and haven't quite figured it all out. Thanks for any and all assistance!

Thank you but no, these are not what he is looking for. I spoke with Micah and he said toyota doesn't make the door handle covers. I think a more accurate description would probably be overlays. The ones that attach directly over the handles with adhesive. Thank you for the info, though.

I haven't seen any overlays. You would have to swap out the handles. Where are you stationed at?

I bought the cheaper ones last year about this time from Cool Springs, I was more annoyed with Toyota having 2 different sets, somewhat subtly different visually. Just didn't dig into the different part numbers, lol !

I am happy with them, they are Toyota a brand and have their warranty. Certainly prefer them over the chrome wheels.

    Cheers !

Yeah, Toyota doesn’t make an overlay, that would have to be third party or get them vinyl wrapped. Those part numbers I listed would be factory original matte black handles like what came on my TRD Pro. Depending on the color of your truck, you can also get fully color matched (more$$$).

@Roman there is a rubber bumper or stopper (not sure what to call it) that fits into a hole on each side of the bed and the tailgate hits it when it closes. I can't find a part number, can you help? This if for a 3rd gen, 2018 specifically. Thanks.

Hey Roman. I’m looking to upgrade my grille/bulge on my 2020 SR5 Tundra to a Quicksand option. This post seems older and I see no mention of SR5’s or 2020’s. Can you give me some direction?

None of the FB links are working... Does anyone have the Toyota part #'s for a 2017 TRD Pro grille and bulge in magnetic grey (1G3)?

Is there any issue with putting an '18+ TRD Pro grille on a '17? Not sure where the dynamic cruise sensor is or if that's just an issue on the newer trucks.

Roman’s been pretty absent lately. There are many that have done the grill swaps using factory and aftermarket inserts. You might reach out to Sparks if the color you want isn’t specifically listed, or buy a basic white one and get it painted locally. As for the 2019+ TRD Pro grill, the TSS sensor is the little rectangle in the lower section. If you don’t need it (2017 or older), you’ll still at least need a cover plate for that open hole in the lower section of the grill.

They do not. The only things the OEM tow mirrors have is power adjustment, heat and turn signals, plus marker lights. You can also get OEM power-folding ones, but they will also not have the blind-spot monitor.

BSM mod ftw. I did it on my OEM power-fold tow mirrors. Works great.

The insert only is not available from Toyota. There are some aftermarket ones (not for the older TRD Pros though) out there, but a genuine Toyota one will require the full grill.

Had to have been one hell of a bird! I hit a crow with my Gen 2 direct in the grill and never saw damage like that.
