That thing is pretty cool. Will it inflate a 35" tire?

I would assume so. Handled my 33's well on several occasions. On one occasion I put 60 psi in all four for a heavy load.

@joonbug @GodlessPro @BlueBottle If one of you guys has a chance to measure the height of your Viair I'd appreciate it. I wanna be sure this mount will work the Viair as well as the ARB single and double.

Thanks @BlueBottle . I made the mount from one piece of diamond plate cut and bent,,,,, full on Origami. When I take it to @renosauce he'll be able to make adjustments to the "platform." The prototype is close.

Glad you like it! Did you make one for Joon?

Has anyone used this inflator? The one that comes with ARB is just ok. I don’t like the chuck they use as it requires two hands.

I think the ARB inflator is pretty much the same as your Viair just with a deflator button.

I ordered one of the Blue Inflators that you referenced and will let you know. It's supposed to be the clip on type (straight on clip).

I have a button deflator on my viair. It’s the clip on that I like. On the viair it’s a lever and on the arb it looks like you press is down and it clips on. Hard to swallow the price though just for that.

Keep us updated! Also let us know if the reading is different and does it keep a reading while inflating?

Yeah, having to hold the lever for 10 minutes straight is not fun.

oh ok. I get what you mean now. Never mind my post then..
I've seen some one on instagram with a auto no need to hold..I'll look around for it later.

But my Harbor Freight Air comp doesn't need to hold ;)

For everyone doing this mod. Just be mindful that you would have to use it only with a vehicle with the trailer harness.
I swap my Air comp from car to car depending on the travel.. The wife's Acura RL doesn't have a trailer harness what so ever. An option would be a quick disconnect butts to the clamps, but that's another mod Mike will have to write up! ;)
Still a great mod!! Just be mindful if you guys carry it on other vehicles.

I’m actually going to do this. Just been lazy and haven’t ordered my quick disconnectros. I’m going to use the same connector that the battery tender uses so you can actaually use the battery tender alligator leads!

Finally got a chance to test the ARB.
The clip on is much easier to use. The air release seems to be slower than the viair. The gauge is more accurate and has better detail than the viair. I like it.

Thanks for sharing this idea, @BlueBottle. I appreciate you for doing this and I'm planning to have this setup on my Tundra. How is it holding up? Did it blow up anything from connecting to 7-Pin trailer plug? How's your air compressor holding up? I'm thinking of getting the Viair 45043 due to its 100% duty cycle. I'm actually debating between the Viair 40045 and the Viair 45043. The price difference is $39.95. Is the Viair 40045 enough for our Tundra?
