So I was about to tackle this DIY which is pretty straight forward from all the research and videos I watched. I pretty much hit a roadblock though at step 2 when I was about to install the 3 piece Rigid brackets.

I'm assuming there's cutting involved on the bumper ends since its not lining up with my PRO ends ? The mounting plates don't sit correctly. At least not for me. the first part is supposed to sit straight up on the frame, but the painted caps appear be the biggest difference from what I can see in the DIY videos.

If you've successfully completed this DIY on you '17 Pro, I'd appreciate any pointers. Thank you

    This is what I have.

These are the brackets that are in question.

I’ve installed these on mind but it has the metal bumper ends and the bracket is sandwiched around the little lip on the inside of the opening. With the plastic bumper ends I believe the bracket is screwed into the plastic on the inside of the bracket. If you can return those brackets do it and get these instead: https://caliraisedled.com/collectio...4-toyota-tundra-led-pod-fog-light-replacement

The Rigid brackets are flimsy and the light bounces horribly while you’re going down the road.
