Thanks South Bound Steve, I’m now a detailing PRO In my mind.

You have suggested several items that I have purchased and they work perfectly.

I wish this southern boy didn’t live in Chicago and close to you as I would just pay you to do my detailing for me.

I have purchased the items in the pics with a couple of before and after shots.

If you guy have questions they have probably already been answered, just search. If not, I bet Steve will answer within a couple of hours or less.

Thanks Steve, you are the man.

I have some Waxaddict left over. Would it be better to use an all purpose cleaner (Adams) or WA? @SouthBoundSteve

I've only seen it for sale on one website

Steve is the man. I've never been into detailing, mostly because I always found it daunting and too difficult. Thanks to @SouthBoundSteve I now love cleaning my truck. He introduced me to products and techniques that are very easy to use. Cost me a few bucks but well worth ever penny spent, I've bought a lot of stuff for less than the price of one detail.

I cleaned my stuff first and then applied. As a self proclaimed Pro Detailer, and by the way you can be an ordained minister for $10, I would clean first then apply Waxaddict. Don't wont to seal in the dirt.

You should listen to Steve, as I stated a "Self Proclaimed Pro Detailer" I am, Sam I am. Green eggs and Ham anyone? yes I'm old and have been drinking at this point.

I use simple green and water to clean my floor mats and 303 after. If I had waxaddict I'd use that instead of 303 I think, I really wanna get some for exterior plastics. For now it's 303 for me.
From what I've read Sean, use the waxaddict on any clean plastics, tires, fender wells, trim....not sure about headlights, I use 303 on them now for UV protection

That's a true test of these type of products. 303 works ok on that piece but a day later it's faded again. 303 is a great product don't get me wrong, but it's probably better for interior and that cowl piece is a bitch to restore. If waxaddict does it then I'm definitely sold on the product

@SouthBoundSteve has turned myself and many here into detailing “pros”. His enthusiasm for sharing knowledge is a great asset for us.
That said, I shudder to estimate the amount of money he’s cumulatively cost the members of this forum.

Lol. This is so true. But our trucks looks amazing, especially yours!!! I can't even start to imagine the time and hard work he's saved all of us as well. A wax job used to be a days work. Now it's a couple hours with products he's recommended.

Looks like you have your first AL detail job. Maybe he'll barter on the fence a little?
I may be a younger guy but I believe strongly in the barter

A monthly wash after a good solid detail? Maybe he has a fleet of vehicles as well? Maybe he has a buddy or 2 with trucks or fleet vehicles? Maybe he likes maple syrup? Who knows....but the opportunities are endless lol

Thinking about how much we have spent on the products we have bought off of Steve's recommendations, just think what he spent on all the products to narrow it down to the ones he recommended. Maybe we should start a "go-fund-me-page" for him.

I’ve used WA for door handles and even the rear bumper trim. I use it on tires all the time and it leaves a long lasting shine!

Test it on a friends car, preferably a friend you don't really like.
