Seems to be working for me, but i just know how to use the ‘upload a file’ button. I know TS has a limit of 9 pics per post, but i dont know about here.

I thought at first it was my data on my phone being a bad connection. But I tried at home last night on WI-FI and 5G and still wouldn't upload. I was initially trying a bunch of pictures but then tried one at a time and still not attaching. I might try adding them in a new post on the build instead of editing the post and adding them in. Maybe the edit button doesn't like adding the photos.

As long as you’re adhering to Max file size and File type, there should not be an issue.

I'm trying to add them in a new response right now. So far it is showing the loading animation in the right corner. But after it finishes, there is no picture. I remember someone mentioning a file sharing source to upload photos and enter them that way. But I can't seem to remember or find what it was.

That works but in the future they may not work if that file sharing site goes tits up. We have many threads that have missing pictures due to for example asshole photobucket and their past policy. It's always best to upload here.

On the tractor forum i visit my phones pics are too big, so i post em in a personal pm here, and that resizes them to fit at the tractor forum. Theres bound to be a way to resize them in-phone, but damned if i could figure it out.

Booo on the non Aisin timing belt. Who knows what tensioners those are. I wouldn't trust it.

I did read the big thread, and actually googled OEM AISIN kit and this is what came up, I’ll look more into into it and definitely use AISIN PARTS

Summit and Rockauto have the legit Aisin kits. They are not expensive, and they come with the necessary hardware that is also OEM equivalent for the tensioners and bearings. Be sure to order the kit with all the tensioners and bearings.

Thank you. I just found a reputable mechanic, and don’t have a clue when the last timing belt was done. I’ve got 244k on her and want to keep her in good shape. Ball joints are next

It's always been kind of a PITA uploading photos from mobile for me. You can't select multiple photos at once and can only upload one at a time. This may be the issue if you are trying to upload multiple photos at a time.

Unless I am some troglodyte and can't figure it out but this has been my experience.

You want to go ahead and do the water pump at the same time as the timing belt.

So far, from my phone, I have been able to add 3 pictures uploading one at a time to the response posts. But as soon as I try to add the 4th one, it just keeps the loading icon going. The pictures say only about 1mb a piece, so they aren't huge file sizes either. I'll keep chugging away.

It looks right, if the part number starts with TKT (Timing KIt), and ends with -021, then it's the right kit for the 2UZ-FE/V8. They also make a kit that ends with -001 which contains a bit less stuff, for slightly less money.

Nope. Again, for these it’s OEM or die. With the timing belt, it’s the engine that will die. With the ball joints, it’s you that could die.

If you're adding files from a phone, sometimes after you upload them all you have to go and click more options to get the choice to attach them, like this:

Thats not a bug, thats a feature. When i’m scrolling through my photo roll looking for something i dont want it to select 20 pics.

and adding multiple pics at a time at TS always messes up the order.

If i max out my charge controller for my solar setup, what happens to the extra power? Turns into heat? Running my fridge and a battery charger, so i’ve got the pixies moving.

So you're basically saying you've opted to ignore everything we put into the megathread without outright telling us you ignored the megathread, eh? And now you're asking for parts advice, on something that's warned about in the megathread.

Posting a picture of anything other than OEM LBJ is a great way to tell me you're ignoring all of our critical community input in the megathread. Dude. Go read it.

And FYI, I know there are a lot of stupidshits out there saying "Sankei 555 is OEM". Let's be real. They got caught up in the in NHTSA mandatory recall for aftermarket lower balljoints a couple years ago too. Over 15,000 LBJ parts affected, along with several other brand names: NAPA, AC Delco, MOOG, Sankei, Tenneco. Why? They sourced some or all of the parts from the same freaking place. SAME SHIT DIFFERENT PILE. 555 IS NOT THE SAME AS OEM.

OEM LBJ. Always. This isn't something people are just telling because they're elitist, we've just seen dozens and dozens of 1st gens killed by LBJ failures (so much an entire 20+ page thread exists on the subject, which again, is linked in the megathread!)

    (more info here)
