The Sequoia wheelbase is 122 inches.
The RCSB wheelbase is 126.8 inches.
When I was doing the T-case swap on my truck, I looked into this to determine if I could use the Sequoia rear driveshaft.

I had to vacate most of the storage space behind my rear passenger seats to accommodate a subwoofer, so my wife hooked me up with pair of like-new Undercover Swing Cases off of FB Marketplace. ($275). The guy had all of the hardware except for the mounting screws (and for $14 at Home Depot, I had 100 of them). I had some time after work, so I got them mounted. Super easy. These things are really handy for my needs/wants.

Of course, my setup is missing @1lowlife 's Libation Liberation Tool.

In your search for a new truck, I actually own all three that you mentioned - a '13 tundra, a '21 tundra, and a '15 sequoia. They area all a little different, but I enjoy each one of them.

The 2nd gen sequoia is very familiar to your '13 with a few changes.

- I LOVE the AWD system offered in that platform; when the snow starts, I just tell my wife to put the vehicle in 4Hi and leave it there til spring. When the roads start to clear or are just patchy, she doesn't have to worry about corning or pulling in to parking spaces in 4Hi. I like it so much I converted my '13 to use a sequoia T-case.

- The ride is smoother but with the 4 wheel independent suspension it handles a little different. Not bad by any means, but different.

- Being a more unique platform, aftermarket support isn't super. A lot tundra stuff fits the front suspension, for example, but it's going to be about an inch taller at stock height, and the rear suspension options are very limited. Things like aftermarket stereos also swap over *almost* directly.

- Amenities are similar, if a little better in the sequoia on like-to-like trims.

- It's a great tow rig (we tow our 23' TT a few times a year), but I would recommend air bags in the back if you plan on hauling or towing. The factory stance is a little closer to level than the tundra, and with a slightly softer ride combined with an independent rear suspension, air bags simply keep it level with stock rear geometry. I don't know if you've looked at IRS vehicles squatting when they tow - you can see the wheels cambered in. It makes handling a little strange.

- You can fit 8 people comfortably in the vehicle as long as 3 of them aren't giants. But normal sized people, 7 or 8 comfortable. The middle seats slide forward and back, and even fold forward to flat (not into the floor, just flat). The back seats fold flat in the floor; but there is a small slope to them. You can fold the middle and back row flat and have a flat surface in the cargo area.

- The roll down back window is awesome.

- Maneuverability is amazing for such a big rig. Being shorter in wheelbase than all tundras except for the RCSB, it turns on a dime. We usually take it out on dates as it's easier to park even though it's just as wide as the tundra.

- The lack of transmission cooler from '11 or '12 on up is not awesome. I've seen 240 pan temps. Converter had to be 270. Eww..

I just picked up a '21 at the end of the year, so I'm still getting used to it. It is virtually identical to my '13, but has a few differences.

- The seating position is horrible in the '14+ compared to 07-13. Get some seat jackers. Seriously. Otherwise, the seats are fine.

- They removed some interior storage like in the rear door cards. Kinda drives me nuts, but no so much that I don't like the vehicle. I'm just used to having it.

- You can get a 38 gallon fuel tank. YES!

- Engine tuning feels dull and boring; Tow/Haul feels more aggressive. It bother some people, but I just drive it like my grandpa truck. But that can easily be changed with a tune from OTT. Or I add some forced induction to it..

- Overall, the truck feels a bit more refined. I still had to do some work to the suspension to get it ride and handle like I want it to, but I would do that to just about any/every vehicle.

- I thought the radar cruise and extra safety nannies would drive me nuts. They are just annoying and maybe mildly irritating at times. The radar cruise is MUCH better than the explorer we rented a while back. That was HORRIBLE.

- I can back up the truck with the door open. The nannies will yell at me, but they don't hit the brakes or disable the gas pedal. I know that sounds silly, but I'm told the 22+ tundras will simply shut you down if you try to do that. I pull a trailer weekly or more, so hitching up I often back most of the way up to the trailer, hop out and unlock the hitch, then hop back in and back up the last 3 feet without bothering to shut my door all the way.

- My '21 lacks a transmission cooler. Transmission temps hit 235 towing yesterday. Yuck. But that can be remedied without too much issue.

Like I said, they are all very similar, but all have their own differences.

I doubt I'll ever use them. I cleaned them both up last year with the cerakote kit. Driver's side is in great shape. Passenger side is a little hazy internally it looks like to me. If you want them you can have them for the cost of shipping. I will get a couple close up pics this evening if you want.

With the Eibach Stage 1 kit that @phabej is running, I wouldn’t recommend a front sway bar delete. Bilsteins you would be ok, but I found the Eibachs to be pretty loose in the corners - both Stage 1 and Stage 2, but moreso stage 1, even on a stock vehicle set at stock height. Just my opinion.

Passenger side outer handle broke off. Got some new color matched handles through eBay. Came with 4 but as mine is a double cab only needed the 2.

That’s because they’re progressive pistons; I ran the kit with no sway bar and it was perfectly fine to be honest; but with them worn out it would be too much roll
