Is there a way to put the drop down back glass in a 2006 first gen tundra that has the manual middle sliding back glass

    DC? Probably.
    AC? Probably, but more difficult.

If you have an AC or RC, unlikely. The DC is based on a Sequoia and has more 'room' for the window to slide into. Not to mention fitting in the motor, regulator etc. Plus it's just not going to be wired for it.
But a custom manual slider? Interesting........

The only write ups that I could find were for the Turd gen. You will have to have a DC on order for this to work to start with. as listed in the megathread: No, adding a full DC one-piece sliding rear window is not a bolt-in experience for AC and RC owners, the DC cab rear is different from the AC/RC cab. Being that the DC had it as an option, I'm sure it's possible. A JY will be your best bet for sourcing parts. Here are the Turd gen write ups I found.

I highly recommend you read the first two replies of THIS THREAD before posting additional questions.

Don't read that last sentence in a snarky tone, I'm not being snarky. We, as a community, sat down to compile the most-repeated questions, then assembled all the info in that thread to help you and other new owners (and even long-time owners) have a single index point for all those questions. It's really important to reference that thread first, use the CTRL+F / Command+F / FIND feature in your browser to search for the keyword of the topic you're hunting. In this case, using FIND on the word "window" would've answered the topic of your thread in less than a few seconds.

It also covers TSBs, common failures, shit you should NEVER do in/to your 1st gen, which makes it "fundamental" reading, to help you proactively avoid major damage or rookie mistakes. Basically, some of us screwed up already so you don't have to.

Also note, we have a bunch of other helpful super-important threads in the upper "sticky" section of the thread list which always remains pinned to the top. Scroll through those, give them a glance-over. Note (blue box to the right) there is a scroller bar to let you reveal all the threads. Some of them, like "known water leaks" and "how to look up part numbers" and "rear brake adjustment" are pretty critical to being a 1st gen owner, doing your own maintenance, and preventing massive issues.
