I took it to a body shop and had them paint it. Much better result IMO. Body shop used a special camera that takes a closeup picture of the paint which turns out a perfect match to the rest of the truck.

Compared to the cost of the other options, this turned out to be the best one. If you know how to take the front facia off, remove the mustache and drop it off at the body shop.

Finally got my bed lights installed. They turned out great! Here’s my write-up and the final product.

Also got another source for my illumination wires from the center combination switch assembly. Thought that was a better spot to source illumination for switches. Here’s a quick write-up of what I did.

Genuine question here... Mine has bed lights from the factory. Is that a new thing from Toyota for '25?

I think it’s based on what options you get with the trim? It seems that higher trim packages have bed lights standard. I think SR5s are based on option packages for if you get it. I see you have an SR5 but don’t know what the Rally package is?

Mine has premium package and other bells and whistles for an SR5 but didn’t have bed lights among other simple things. Don’t know their rhyme or reason behind what they consider standard on different trim levels.

Mine is supposed to be a base SR5, but the Rally package gives it a 14" screen along with a bunch of other goodies. My windows sticker doesn't show a convenience package, but I'm 99% sure I got the bigger 30-something gallon fuel tank. Because it has that and the BSM, I think there is some sort of convenience package that includes the bed lights?

The Rally package is an SR5 TRD OR with
    - TRD Pro exhaust
    - TRD Pro steering wheel
    - TRD Pro shifter
    - Tri color stripes in the softex seats
    - 14" screen
    - de-badged with tri-color stripes
    - Base model grill :notsure:

I call it my poor man's TRD Pro.

It's priced just below a limited TRD OR.

I read somewhere that it's Toyota replacement for the TRD sport.

Any long bed configuration (6.5’ crew/8’ double) gets the larger fuel tank too. And there may be other ways to get it.

Yeah, mine is just the 5.5. The fuel tank spans from the rear axle to the trans x-member. It's huge!

Do the math on mpg so you can have an educated guess OR drive it until 0 miles left then fill up to see how many gallons it will take.

On my Limited I needed the Power package to get bed lights, 120V inverter and whatever else it included.

That explains it. I don't have the plug in the bed either so I guess that whole package is tied together. I do have the 2 usb plugs for back seat passengers but no 120V inverter in that spot either.

So, Toyota eliminated the TRD sport in '25 MYs? I have the convenience package in mine.

It's pretty simple to add your own bed lights, just takes time, & you can configure it however you want. This cost a total of about $30.20250215_120736.jpg

Looking good. I agree, the bed lights overall weren't that bad and much brighter than the ones that came with bed lights stock IMO.

Mine also has the 120v inverter.

As far as I know, there is no 25 TRD sport, yes.

Just finished blacking out and upgrading my center console. Love the dual wireless charger. So much better than the stock one.

Just starting with some small things, but got the bulletpoint mounting solutions kit installed and the Tufskinz door sill protection over the weekend.

You can go in your Toyota app under your truck>Info>Glovebox>Specs & Capabilities and it will show you all those add ons you have. My large tank is listed under the “Port or Factory Installed Equipment” header.

Small weekend project. Added the Rhino Rack 6 ski / 4 snowboard carrier to the areo crossbars for a little extra cargo management. Will be used for hauling fishing rods and kayak paddles. Just need to tweak the spacing
I look at those door sill protectors all of the time contemplating if I want to install them in the back for the kiddos. Looks good. Definitely going to have to do this.

I just did the front doors for now but I will add the back eventually. My son still needs to be picked up and put in his car seat so I’m not too worried about that for at least another couple years. It’s not too bad of a process, just gotta take your time and work top to bottom smoothing out the air bubbles. They are very easy to mess up if you get in a hurry with how sticky they are. They want to stretch some if you have to pull them back off to realign. But the fact I did it while my two year old was climbing all over me and the truck proves it’s not too bad

2025 Limited CM, TRD Off-road package, 3" lift
I bought my '25 Limited TRD Off-road package with 3" lift just about a month ago. I immediately bought BFG TA KO3's in 285/60R20 and had the dealer install the TRD sway bar to make room for bigger tires.
This is my daily driver and I just want functionality for my lifestyle. I participate in competive shooting a lot. Probably 2 to 3 weekends of the month. Camp in the summer and transport stuff quite a bit as part of household chores as well as up to our cabin 3 hours north. I hunt every fall with a group of buddies and haul a bunch of coolers and camping equipment out to the lease and every thanksgiving drive back to my family's farm in the east coast to hunt whitetail.

My last Tundra had a cap and I loved it so I ordered an RSI Smart Cap EvoA and installed it by myself with a garage hoist.
My truck wasn't optioned with the power package so I installed some rock lights on magnets in the ceiling of the Smart Cap.Ordered some rare(apparently) molle backers for quickfists to store some tools on the doors of the Smart Cap and used M8 clamp screws to hang some traction boards. I also ordered a cheapo fire extinguisher and screwed some magnets to it's bracket to mount to the Smart Cap.
I ordered all the parts and pieces for the Heritage Pro grille swap and ahead of the install prepped the battery for multiple power accessories with a Blue Seas 6 gang fuse block and a 100amp circuit breaker. I bought some sheet steel and made a mount for the fuse box cover.
As I was finishing the wiring for the Diode Dynamics light bar in the Pro Grille I realized how nice it would be to have a dome light under the hood. I had one rock light left and ordered some more magnets but surprise!....the hood is aluminum, lol. So I copied @60centenergy and used a strip LED I had lying around. Last Friday RCI emailed the skid plate was ready so I drove up and picked it up and installed it at work. Super easy install and it looks great. I got aluminum for the weight savings and the fact that I'm not building a hard use 4 wheeler.
Next planned additions. I ordered a CAN M8 high beam switch and reader to link my light bar to the headlights. I also have two 30"L x 10" tall x 13" deep tool boxes that I'm going to mount to the bulkhead bed rail end to end. I'll probably have to build a little bench for them to sit in to bear the weight. Have at toolroll incoming and will pick up a Morrflate air compressor. I'll store the bottle jack, tools, air compressor, coveralls, snow chains, tire repair kit, jumper cables, tow strap, and hitch in those boxes. I plan on ordering a Backwoods Adventure front bumper and installing a 12K winch in the next couple of months. Lastly I plan on buying the Electrolatch auto locks for the Smart Cap to link to the doors lock/ unlock functionality. I think that will round the truck out and give me some preparedness and flexibility when dealing weather and conditions in the mountains.
