Comfortable 73* here today and quite lovely out. No green grass or pollen yet however, still a few weeks away from rinsing the truck daily.

    Thats odd.
I even tried Keith's long rez and it fit, it just knocked the sound down too much.
That 8 certainly has more rasp when you push on it than my 10 does.
    Glad you like it.

Here is mine, although I never get off the pavement, that might have something to do with it..:D

    Following up on this...

Yes, the truck will stay running if the switch is flipped after starting. I didn't drive it so Im not sure how it would effect operability.

I did test it and tried to start the truck and it works as it should. The truck did throw a Check Engine light and TC Off message after that though. I didn't check the code but disconnected the neg battery cable for about 15min and it cleared that.

Thier FAQ does mention this and just says to cycle the engine a few times to clear it. It probably should suggest to disconnect the batt prior to the install.

All in all, for $88 (after the $10 coupon code) I'm satisfied with it. I doubt I'll use it everyday but it's there if I need it.

I installed ARC mud flaps! Gives it a nice sporty look and should protect my rockers from rock chips.

Can you choose how far out they stick? Or are the mounting holes pre-drilled?

I’m on OEM wheels with stock offset; I like these, but I don’t know if I need mudflaps to stick out that much…

They are slotted for vertical adjustment. Very little side to side adjustability. The holes are pre drilled. Mine are the full sized flaps. They sell micro flaps that may be better for stock wheels and tires.

Parts pile continues- ordered a new oem starter since we remove it during the transmission/header install. While we're in there.

Headers, transmission arrive Monday. Still waiting on the extreme valve body from Australia and dex3 trans fluid. Currently hunting down the crank no start issue. I’ve got a new crank sensor I need to toss in and some fresh plugs. New rear suspension tbd on delivery.

I used a very small screwdriver to pry the bed liner out of the bolt heads. Once that is removed score around the perimeter and they come out easily.

Alright, for all of you cool kids who have installed your Stillen intake AND used the TRD air accelerator, give me some tips, please. I was able to persuade the accelerator on the intake with a heat gun to soften the accelerator a bit and slip it over the ridge. However, when installing the bottom of the accelerator won't go into the hole in the fender. Aight, then tried accelerator into the hole first, then intake, what a chore that is.

Did anyone remove the coolant reservoir, for more room? I've tried prying that bottom piece as well, but don't have much in the way of leverage with the res in the way. Haven't even gotten to those 2 bolts for the box yet

LoL. Told ya that was gonna be a PIA. That's why I ended up cutting up my box which I know you said you didn't wanna do. I shaved off about an inch from that and an inch from the throttle body coupler for proper fitment.

Yeah, there's NO room. But I did see pics of someone who succesfully installed itno cutting and no clamp. I'll have to dig back through the threads on it and send them a PM.

Even considered pulling the fender liner for inside access, but I don't have replacement liner clips on standby. It may go in sans accelerator, get clips, and give it another go this weekend

Also, I didn't mount the box the way the instructions say to mount since I'm going to have to remove it for smog checks so Im using my own washers that made it a bit easier for me to install..

Really like these, did you have any there before? I'd have to swap out to replace mine and not sure it would be worth it. Hows the material feel? really like the look of them, the rokblokz or whatever I have now are fine and work, but these are nice looking! How far out past the body do they reach, do you mind measuring?
edit: Do you think the colors are solid print and would hold up? A silver to match my MGM is an interesting idea to me.

Edit edit: I asked the chat guys, they are a base of black and the LOGO is the one you can pick the color on. They are working to update the website to reflect that as it is misleading.
