Finished up my front end on Saturday. Pretty happy with it. A little bouncy but hoping that goes away once they break in.

    OEM lower ball joints
OME 93004 Front shocks with 4004 Front coils
    NAPA CV axle
    NAPA Adaptive One S13WL Calipers

    VENDOR UPDATE/QUESTION

Anyone ever buy from Cabe Performance in Long Beach?
I'm about to do the ball joints and their prices are much lower than everywhere else.

    Ourisman wants $100.76
    https://toyotaparts.ourismantoyotao...wer-4334039356?c=bD0zJm49U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM=
    Serra wants $107.27
    https://autoparts.serratoyota.com/products/product/joint-assy-lwr-ball-w-knuckle-arm-rh-4333039466
Cabe has it for only $81.83.
    https://www.cabeperformance.com/tundra-lower-ball-joint-assembly-lh/

Seems too good of a deal, but it appears they are a legit dealership.
I would be more comfortable if anyone can vouch for them with a good experience.

If you look at their site, they use the logo, claim genuine parts, and it appears they are a legit Toyota dealership.
    https://autoparts.cabetoyota.com/
I even checked maps and google street view. Toyota dealership on the ground right there.
Everything seems to pass the smell test except for the super low price that has me cautious.

I hear ya. It's your call. Everyone here in the 1gt forum is looking for a deal on LBJs at some point, so another source of OEM is good.

Just never seen a dealership third party a webpage as performance parts

I haven’t heard much of any positive things about OME’s shocks/strut setups for our trucks, so I’m not surprised to see your feedback on how bouncy things are. Hopefully it resolves. Any reason you opted to go with them over Bilstein with OME or Dobinson coils?

    Shipping was normal, around $30.

Mystery solved: I spoke with the location today. They are a legit place offering OEM parts, however that website and the prices on there are old and no longer used. The guy explained that price was their cost and some complicated situation where it should not even be showing. He offered to honor the price for me, but after total of everything and tax and shipping his price was still a bit higher than Serra. The current price to order from them going forward is the kit at $201.76(no castle nuts).

Ourisman looked lowest until I went to place my order and the tax and shipping brought that to $240.03.
I ended up ordering from Serra just now and paid $228.94, no tax and no shipping. That includes left and right side LBJ with castle nuts, as well as the 8 new bolts.

Thank you to everyone being a resource to help find the best prices for our trucks and getting legit parts.

I'm.waiting for my OME struts to be shipped out from toytec. After speaking with Hugo, guessing that's their sales manager, I decided that the OME nitro struts w/4885 coils. I was looking at the 5100s and using my stock coils. But the price for the OME pre built struts were the better option in the long run. I'm interested in how you like your's after it settles

Other than the fact that the actual lift is all over the place, I was really happy with the front OME on the AC. I have them on the back of the AC and Sequoia and really like them. I'll go OME on the front of the AC when it's time for new ones.

I’ve heard good results for DC trucks. But @Anima is driving an AC, and all I’ve seen on here is horror stories. Like that one guy who installed the OME 3/1 kit on his AC and the suspension went BANG! with every bump. He had to rip his brand new suspension out, and install something else to fix the problem. This guy: https://www.tundras.com/threads/ome-3-1-kit-goes-full-extension-with-a-bang-too-fast-why.109151/

The OME kit isn’t designed or intended for the Tundra. But the DC and Sequoia are close enough to the 4Runner (which I think the kit was designed for?) that it’ll work.

The advertised lift amount varies a lot by each individual truck.

Got my parts from Serra. Seen some folks asking about and posting where theirs were made and mine say made in Japan.
I don't recall seeing torq specs in this thread apart from recalling 59 lbs for the 4 bolts for the LBJ.
I do not have a FSM for my year of truck(2001), I was only able to find a digital version for the 2003 and hope all details are the same.
The specs I see on page 1786, section SA-64 call out the following:
    Castle nut = 103 lbs
    4 bolts for LBJ = 59 lbs
Tie rod connection to LBJ = 67 lbs

    Does that all sound right?
Anyone have a link to a 2001 FSM, by chance?

I personally have never run across an 00-02 FSM. The only download we have around here is an 03 FSM given they only added very few changes in an 03 Tundra compared to an 01. The 03 FSM can be found in the mega thread.

Having a hard time finding the correct OEM replacement LBS for my 05 v8 access cab...
I used the part number finder that was linked in one of shifty's stickys, why can I find the exact part number on the McGeorge/ Ourisman website but not at any of the dealerships near me? When I called them they said they have parts in warehouse available next day (at a ridiculous price of course) but I cant seem to be able to find them trough toyota auto parts at any nearby.

According to the part finder im looking for 43330-39655 RH and 43340-39515 LH, Ourisman wants ~$137 each other than saving on shipping can I even expect to get them cheaper at a nearby dealership?

What parts finder are you using?! Those numbers look wrong.

    3 pages back, dude.

EDIT: Disregard. Apparently there's a cutoff date in December 2005 for the LBJ, so trucks prior to December 2005 use a different LBJ part number.

You will NEVER walk up to a local parts counter and beat online pricing. UNLESS you start your order online, and your local dealer both (A) participates in the nat'l parts program thus allows you to pickup after ordering at the nat'l site, and (B) is offering the standard 10-40% or whatever discount.

I repeat: NEVER order from your local dealership over the phone, or in person. Only via the Toyota Parts website. Parts you need for the '05-'06 are linked directly with Toyota in that reply I just shared.

I was using https://toyota-usa.epc-data.com/tundra/ from the toyota parts how to, thats where I got those part numbers, not sure if thats outdated or something?
Or I used it wrong, also very possible...

I wasn't planning on buying it from them in person, just wanted to see what part numbers they would suggest and if they had it available.

Awesome so I'm good to use those exact part numbers?

The EPC site should have current part numbers. Is it possible you used their "ALT" or "SUBST" part numbers? Sometimes in EPC it'll give two different part numbers, for reasons I don't understand (maybe for regional purposes).

You should be good with the part numbers I threw out, or what Nick linked to. If you want to PM me your VIN, I can verify the parts for you. Or you can consult the Toyota doc. but given the part numbers both Nick and I linked you to are identical, and are for all trucks with manuf'er date after August 2004 (If memory serves), those should work.

It did put out two part numbers but I don’t think either of them matched the ones you guys gave me.

I’ll send you a pm just to be safe thanks!!

Here are your part numbers. It would appear your part numbers are different. Note how there's a "SUBST" part number for each LH (driver) and RH (passenger) joint? That's likely to be the part number that will pull up.

It's a good thing you asked, and it appears I may be wrong, same with @NickB_01TRD. Wild. I'll edit my post. It appears '05+ does use the part numbers we both posted, but only starting at some arbitrary cutoff date for trucks manufactured in December 2005.

And your bolt part number is 90080-10066 per the EPC, which are silvery in nature, and come with a light coating of red threadlock on them already.

So thinking there may be yet another style joint to add to the confusion? How much difference could there possibly be?
