It is now working, but for a while it was a wix error page. There is now a TEST TEST item in the shop with a $10 price. I wonder if that is a placeholder for their Dual Charger?

EFF told me it was a place holder for the Dual Charger, which will not be a the $10 price point. A few days after that the TEST TEST item was gone, but still no duel charger is listed

Got a question for anyone who replaced their factory qi with the slee. Does it register on the screen like the factory one does?

it does? That seems strange since if you put a phone on that charger that isn’t connected by a Bluetooth it still registers

In the non CarPlay the qi charger shows up in the top right, and it will say in a banner across the top charging or charging has stopped

Does the kit where you have the QI charger ready simply plug into the factory plug?

Those who have ordered from EEF, slow response? Ordered 4 days ago, no shipping notice and no response to email.

Any see these OBD chargers use them? Need to start looking at better snug chargers as the wifi connect uses to much battery.

Did you get the part and get it installed? If so is it working out better than the factory POS?
    TIA

Yes, was shipped promptly after contact. Installed it tonight, works much better than the OEM, at least it immediately connects to my S21 with otterbox where as the OEM required finding the best spot. I'll reports back after some longer term usage.

Here is an image of OEM vs EEF. Interesting that OEM has a fan where eef is passive cooling.

Thanks, does it plug into the oem power source or do you have to plug into a usb-c in the center console? I have seen it being done both ways.
    Thanks again.

Ran it a bit today. With OEM, my otterbox'd s21 would intermittently connect while leaning in it's spot. Never gained charge, but loss slowed. With the EEF, same phone/box, it says connected. In all cases, running AA, maps and streaming XM through the phone, it gains about 1% charge over 10 minutes. Now that the charger is functional, have to contain the natural tendency to clutter the cubby where it lives.

Was looking at the install video, it showed plugging the charger into the usb in the center console. Your version you didn’t need to?

So that is what that symbol is - curiosity never rose to the level to break out the manual. I've seen it, always been the same which I expect as my phone seldom charged. The EEF uses two pins on the connector, the OEM appears to use 8 pins which explains the feedback to whatever module (BCM?) updates the display.

Took a few moment to interrogate the OEM - impressive. EEF uses brute force to connect with 3 coils. The OEM is smarter in that the charge coil searches (XY motors) for the optimal position to charge, or at least it appears to be designed that way or it knows the phone model and has a lookup table for position. It also has a cooling fan.

It is now 2025, and still no dual charger is on their website.

I have now had a 2022 and a 2025 and the original factory charger didn't have the moveable motor to find the "sweet spot" and it never stayed connected to any of my phones to charge at all (a Samsung Android and two different iPhone's).

Not to denigrate an honest start-up who is trying, but the EEF that I purchased actually connected to my phones but only charged enough to keep Android Auto from sapping my devices battery.

The factory charger in my 2025 has the moving motor and usually stays connected, but still doesn't charge much, especially with Android Auto connected. I can drive for an hour and my phone battery goes up 2 - 4 percent.

I gave up. Just use the corded method. It keeps the hair on my head from turning grey and keeps me from tearing apart the console for little to no gain.

Wonder if it’s backwards compatibles. Taking the part number off of 2025 truck and using that charger in 22-24 model trucks.
