    Looking good!
Gotta order the remote filter block... what chamfer bit did you use.

I used a 90* bit (45* chamfer), about half of the thickness of the material.

Anyone have the Toyota part number for this idler? Trying to get rid of a dreaded belt squeak. I have a new tensioner and non-SC idler but having trouble locating this smooth, non ribbed idler pulley p/n.

Would you be okay with a Dayco idler? I think that it's the part Toyota uses.

Interesting, thanks for a update. Did he explain why, seems like it was easily done via the commercial or whatever version on HP. Guess not. I'll reach out to HP Monday also. Maybe if we bother the hell out of them they do something. Being annoying sometime hurries shit along.

Mine went as follows. Noticed slight slipping in 4th. Drain and fill at Toyota. All good for about 20 miles. Gave it the beans in 3rd gear, rpms suddenly wrapped out redline and lost every gear but reverse. Glided home barely with zero engine light/codes. That was that.

I really wanted the fittings to sit more flush, so I went at it again with a file and got the result I was looking for. Now they thread down flush with the housing without the o-ring, and fit nice and snug with the o-ring, which seats nicely in the chamfer. I'm more confident in this holding, maybe next weekend I can make some lines and finally get this project completed...it's pouring rain now or I'd already be at it.

The TCU functions you're looking for are contained in a separate file, on a separate chip in the ECU than the "main" engine calibration that you currently have access too (which happens to contain the shift schedule and a few other TCU functions)

    Curious:

Was reading on a Chevy site and a person mentioned that they had a 3.0 Whipple on their 6.2. they mentioned that it was purchased before Whipple changed their body to plastic.

Is there any info that the Tundra Whipple SCers are still alloy and not switched over to plastic?

I'm only passing along what I read, I have no more info than what I typed.

Paired with the OG gatorback belts it does. This is old school cobra and lightning day stuff.

What’s alloy vs plastic? No plastic on the Whipple

That's assuming it was slipping to begin with though. Maybe @Mdl at sea level would see a difference.

Yea exactly. We’d only see real slip in the upper rpm range you’d see it dyno graphs and boost slightly dipping. I don’t feel anyone of us are running small enough pullies yet to have this issues with the available belts out.

I was trying to find a log where I saw a little dip from 13.9psi to 12.7psi. It happened before/during a shift from 3rd to 4th I believe around 5800-6000rpm.
