Sooo, I changed the LBJ's and UBJ's from my 02 Tundra 2wd with 202k miles. Although now I feel a little bit safer driving, I am a bit worried about the clunking I hear when I turn. Sounds like it mostly comes from the driver side. Is it safe to say this is due to the tie rod ends? Both LBJ's and UBJ's are OEM with new OEM bolts as well. Not sure what the mechanic torqued the bolts to. I got some Moog bushings for the sway bar and suspension maxx end links but, really want to take care of the clunking sound. Need some common things to look at that cause clunking.

9 outta 10 times your rack bushings are donezo

easy to diagnose. Have someone turn the wheel of the truck while your underneath and see if the rack moves. It shouldn't, or it should have VERY little movement.

You need to read this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

It has almost all you need to know as a 1st gen Tundra owner. I would specifically pay attention to this point:
    • Driveline "clunks" when stopping and going: For 4WD trucks, you probably aren't lubing your driveline every 5k-10k miles as needed, see this reply (PS - this zerk requires special attention, see reply #4). For later-year 2WD trucks, there's a TSB out, the tranny crossmember can crack over time, then bolts loosen & fall out. Typical symptoms are clunks when turning, stopping, going. There's a specific TSB for the 2WD tranny mount problem, but it calls for replacing the crossmember, which many think is overkill unless clearly cracked (example here). If not cracked, retightening with a non-permanent thread sealer has worked.
Looking at that TSB for 2WD, while it's focused on later years, it's worth looking at your crossmember - but I suspect your problem is your rack bushings:

Start with a cheap option and replace away bar bushings. I did mine last week they are easy and took the clunks out of mine
