GEN 3 (2022+) Wheels and Tires Photo thread

Has anyone on here put a wheel a tire combo with size and offset for trucks with the TRD lift and sway bar drop? I’ve looked through about 10 pages and haven’t seen any, if someone could link me that would be great.

Testing fitting my wheels today and became a little confused
The hub on the truck I read is 95.1mm but the new wheels are 106.25mm
Is this a problem that I’ll need to find hub centric rings for?

So I will tow my 5k boat once a week most the year about 20 miles.

Just got the FN BFD 18’s (+20 offset) coming in around 23lb

I’m debating on going:

General Grabber ATX 275/70/18 (~46lb) and these woukd keep me close to the stock combined wherl and tire weight of 70lbs (23+46)
OR-
Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT 275/70/18 (~56lb) which would put me at 10lbs over

Will I take a considerable mpg hit if I go Cooper route?

Hub rings will fix you up. Very easy fix.

 

Thanks. Wilwood front brakes (they only have front brakes right now). RC covers in the rear. Stops very well.

 

If you're towing a 5k lb boat then definitely go E! I know my 7k lb boat (with trailer) has a LOT of tongue weight. I added air suspension in the rear just for that. I got Nitto Ridge Grapplers and love 'em!

 

@T-MAC , just curious, and I am sure others here would be too, could you provide more information on driveability, or is it a special project vehicle for showing etc...
Just looking at it from what I can see, as good as it looks (looks killer!), I don't see much clearance for any movement of the wheels; up-down or steering rub.

 

Thanks! This is my fun vehicle - not my "daily". So, mpg's, road manners, making it to 300k miles, etc are not my concern. I drive off-road a lot, mostly trail riding, climbing up mountains, forest roads, off-road trails, desert running, or just driving to a nice spot to hike, bike, camp, etc. I don't rock crawl, so I'm not putting the most extreme articulation possible on every wheel. The truck handles everything quite well. Gearing in this transmission is great, no over heating. Steering doesn't seem to be affected much from the point of on and off road. I can turn full in either direction. Haven't rubbed in any situation (I did lots of cutting, though). I'm adding some RPG steering rods soon, however, just to over-engineer that weak point. I do have Icon coilovers and UCA's as well. I hope to get some portals whenever 74 or Werewolf make them (both have said they're planning on it). That should help with gearing, clearance, steering/cv angles, articulation, and allow me to push the truck into some harder situations.

 

Have any pictures of full articulation? That's impressive. I think with Raptor's you have to get mid travel kit and new fenders to have any chance at running 40's without destroying your fenders coming off a jump or full articulation.

 

Next time I ride out, I'll get some articulation pics and post here.

Truck has the factory installed 3” TRD lift. No rubbing at all to report of not even on the sway bar with the drop bracket still installed.

I am reading the threads, but it seems like there is some varying responses regarding installing 35 tires. I have the 2023 1794 TRD 4x4 with the blue Bilstein shocks (factory). If I get 35 Falken Wildpeak 35x12.50r20 on the factory 20 Inch TRD wheels, will I need a 1 inch spacer and will those tires go on without having to pull the fabric back? I don't plan on getting the truck lifted in the near future. Also What offset will allow for the least poke but not cause rubbing?

It seems there are some people mentioning height differences between the SR5, the 1794 TRD, and the TRD off road. I just would like to get clarity on this for the model 23 Year.
