It is a ring that goes between your hub and your wheel if your wheels are not made for the specific vehicle. i.e. if the wheel bore is larger than the size of the hub, then it fills that gap to make the wheel center perfectly on the hub.

I just ordered method 305s and they spec at 108 hub size. Do they come with these rings or do they have to be purchased separately?

I thought the new wheels were not hub centric? Why would these be needed unless your wheels didn’t use conical nuts?

Toyota wheels are hub centric and conical nuts to top it off. At least the previous gen is. I would venture to say that aftermarket wheels are not hubcentric to the new gen tundra. Also I feel alot better knowing I have hub and lug centric supporting my wheels.

I know my GX and 4Runner wheels are not lug centric. The lug nuts are straight sided and all they do is clamp the wheel on. There is no cone to the nut or wheel. The 2nd gen Tundra nuts look the same to me.

That said, I could see these helping with installation of the wheel by getting it lined up before installing the nuts.

I was able to find 108 to 95.3mm. Is that close enough or does it have to be exactly 95.1?

Really glad I found this! I just put some method 318's on my 22 tundra and had some wobble. Went back to the shop and they said I need some hub rings. Found that strange because method said the wheels are lug centric. Turns out the shop did not put the conical ET lugs on, but rather put on ball seat.

The method support team was fantastic and helped me troubleshoot this very quickly. Even texted me pictures of what to show the shop.

That being said, I am going to put on these rings and use the conical et lugs. Might as wall ensure there is no play at all!

You know...I've got to give credit to the OP (I can't tag people any longer...odd). I've never used hub rings before, even with aftermarket wheels. I've never really needed to since, even when the bore size was different, the conical lug nuts were enough. Because of that history, I had pretty much dismissed these.

Since I put on wheels & tires about 15k miles ago, I've been chasing a vibration that I never could solve. I've had my Coopers road force balanced multiple times trying to solve it and that never fixed it. At my last rotate & balance, the tech told me that Coopers were "hard to balance", so I just dismissed the vibration. Fast forward to today and my mind has totally changed on these. They have solved my vibration issues. Best $30 that I've spent in a long time. haha

The Fuel Wheels I just bought have the rings in them. But if they are not right I will no doubt be getting these. The quality looks incredible.

I have method 312s. Method states 106.25mm, did you confirm yours are 108? I’m looking for ring that fill the 106.25 to 95.1 void. The ones lost on Amazon are 106. I’m not sure if the .25 makes a difference

You want the 106mm ones. The .25mm is like .009 inches and negligible. The rest of us are using the 106mm to 95.1mm just fine.

This is interesting. I bought Method Racing wheels mounted with Blizzaks from Tire Rack. They can with red colored rings but they almost feel like plastic (?).
I guess I'll put the calipers on them and see what the numbers are for these.

    Thanks for this info.

Definitely advantages to both. If I lived in the rust belt, I would definitely go with the PVC/poly plastic hub rings to avoid problem down the road. I've got my aluminum rings coated with anti-seize as a preventative measure.

Good to know. We live where it's cold and salt is used. Guess I'll stick with what Tire Rack sent. Thanks.

Hey, I don’t have the print to make them but I’ve been meaning to reach out to the shop that sent them with my method wheels so I can print more myself for future use. When I do I’ll post it

Thanks! I’m likely going to create them, I just don’t have any in person to check on a couple things I’m not sure about. I will look closer at some of the pics.

So, I did 3d print some rings and I test fit them in the rims and they fit perfectly, however I received my Amazon order before the shop was able to get my truck back in so I likely won't need them. I'm attaching the STL file here for anyone that may need it in the future, and a photo of the 3d printed ring next to one of the production ones (Note: I had not done any finishing cleaning up of the burs and stuff since I'm not going to be using them). I put them side by side and they are the same dimensions inside and out.
