We do this with any fabric upholstered furniture in the house also, on any seat cushions that're upholstered with zippers. Kid spilled something on it? Unzip all of them, into the wash on gentle, which is usually enough to get the fresh stain out without making things look more worn than the rest of the piece.

Oh man a washing machine wasnt getting that shit out. I honestly thought it was far on the arm rest at first. It was a hardcore elbow grease job.

But noted for next time, thank you

Shit, dude. Did they say it was frothy or did you get to see it? Not questioning the findings, just curious.

They didn't mention frothy. They showed me the residue on the fill cap.

Oh. You don't have water in your oil. That's a symptom of short trip driving, and steam building up in the valve cover. Totally normal.

Get a new oil change shop if someone else raised this with you.

That's reassuring. I am a short trip driver. Excluding a long road trip once a year, I drive about 30-40 miles a week. I know that's not healthy, but I can't help it if I live two miles from work.

So your saying its nothing I should be overly concerned about?

I just updated my reply with a Toyota Maintenance video. Give it a whirl. Nothing to be hyperconcerned about. You DO NOT have coolant in your oil.

The pad on the right isn't properly seated on the rotor, note the two spots with overhang? Super weird. But yeah, those have plenty of life left.

I call bullshit on that report. Someone probably saw the filler cap and was interested in scaring your into some money. Any chance you may change your own oil next time so you can assess directly?

Also, with short trip driving, you need to be changing based on months, not miles. Are you doing that?

I seen that when i was doing the UCAs. Cant find a symptom or a cause other than improper install alignment. If anything its keeping that outter edger burr from forming lol

Highly doubtful I'll change it myself. I usually go about six or seven months between changes. This time was exactly eight months. How many months would you recommend?

Possibly, who knows with the owners 4 and 5. They "just good enoughed" so much shit on this thing I have projects for months. Like there's an 05 06 front end on this truck with 00 head lights and fenders..... So when i go to get it repainted i get to buy all the correct trim pieces and sub structor shit. Also explains why I cant propelyr mount the blinker housings to the head lamps.....

Drill brush and extractor. The ones used for carpet in your home. Or you can get away with a shop vac. Just gotta be a little quicker between brushing and extractions.

Speaking of UCAs, these KSP UCAs are fucking great, got just under 500 miles in them now. Holding up well, no noises, smooth ride, no interference with anything, springs or mount housings. Their ball joints are holding up well.

The factory Zerg fittings blow donkey balls, but for less than 300 shipped to your door, I mean I like them overall. And I'm pretty picky about what I like from building street legal track weapons.

Will check in at 1000 miles. Oh driving types are 22 minutes of highway 5 days a week, light field driving most weekends, and the occasional around town shit 2 to 4 times a week.0212241135a.jpg 0212241150.jpg 0212241150a.jpg 0212241150b.jpg 0212241150_HDR.jpg 0212241150c.jpg 0212241150a_HDR.jpg 0212241150b_HDR.jpg

This guy knows what's up ^^
Find a BG "gold" shop on this list and get your services done there. They can also provide a ton of different treatments using BG products (which are super high quality, targeted, warranty-backed products!) that will address your vehicle's specific needs, knowing you're a short-trip driver. For example, you may want to have them do a MOA + EPR combo at your next oil change to help combat the sludge buildup that can happen with short-trip driving.

There are lots of shops west of midtown/downtown available, the yellow/gold dots are the ones you want to go to. Use this link to find the ones closest to you. BG sites typically don't dick around. Ask them about their transmission product also, it's supposed to be great for our sealed transmissions.

Your truck didn't come with the larger 13WLs. It came with the smaller 13WEs. I suspected @Mr.bee was right and liked his post when he said it. I think he nailed the issue. Some PO installed larger calipers whenever as an upgrade.
