Bought this truck had been wrecked twice bumper plastic cover had been replaced but bumper cover when shaken is loose especially on the corners (front).can’t find anything showing any pictures at all.got new retainers connected the bottom of the cover to the steel bumper but it seems the cover still has stress on it.doesn’t fit tight especially on each front corners.can’t see any braces to bolt to ordered splash shields hoping to help secure the ends but didn’t help much.cover looks good but loosens up after two days driving.didn’t put cover on myself it was on when I bought it but it was wrecked in the front.not sure if it’s the right bumper cover or not.looks good but I think they left parts off that aid in bracing the lower portion especially the corners.looking for any help.just not familiar with Toyota front ends.any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks reb!

If you want to compare what you've got to what you should have, I recommend using the top few bullet points in this post to review exploded diagrams of your truck: https://www.tundras.com/threads/howto-use-the-toyota-parts-system-to-find-order-parts.113808/

After plugging in your VIN in the system and searching, hit the "Body and interior" section and then the "FRONT BUMPER & BUMPER STAY" to see the bumper and its accoutrements.

To see the frame portion of things, press the back button to return to the original search result page and click on 'FRAME', then flip through its sections. It may help see what you've got and what you may need.

what you describe is pretty typical for cheaper aftermarket parts, though.

You may also find this info useful.
