Honest question…Explain to me how that would drain a battery. Grounding?

PS. These are still available. Got a couple of folks interested in OR. Free to someone in WA that can come get ‘em. Or if someone can mule them down to OR I’d appreciate it

Not sure it really would, probably just coincidence.

However, the Trigger Controller is always on and drawing a small amount of power. I had it set to shutdown if the battery gets below a certain level. Not sure if the loose connection would cause it to not shutdown properly resulting in draining the battery down too low? Anyway, pulled the unit for now until I get the circuit breaker and other parts together.

Interesting that it is always on. That's a strange "feature".

Didn’t make it up there last week like I had originally planned.
I’ll let you know if that changes.

I’m thinking about switching to this mounting system after eyeballing the engine bay mount I bought and getting annoyed with some details.

Is the wire harness that came with the ARB kit long enough to reach under the seat? Or did you have to lengthen the wiring?

What did you use to hook up the pump to the quick disconnect?

@RainMan_PNW I have a low priority ask if you are interested in solving a puzzle. I tried digging through all the wiring diagrams you've posted here, but quickly realized I don't speak this dialect of Engineering.

When I pulled apart my dash today I noticed there are two sets of wires behind blank switch panels right next to the USB ports. Any idea what these are for? The blanks actually had holding pockets for them, but they don't plug into anything functional.

First pic are from the interior side with the blanks removed. Second pic is the two wire bundles in question.IMG_2671.HEIC.jpgIMG_2672.HEIC.jpg

Okay, I dug up the manual. Looks like one wire bundle is for the parking assist switch our trucks don’t have5D12D36A-D7C1-45DC-AF92-1438914F93BC.jpg

And it looks like the other is an audio port of some kind. Maybe for the alternate stereo that we don't have in our trucks? The primary manual has an "AUX Port" reference, but says to check the Nav and Multimedia manual. That manual has no info for an Aux port...so I think we have a gap in their manuals.

I believe the white connector is for the Glass Break Sensor.

One is for the glass break sensor, and the other is for parking sonar.
The instrument panel wiring harness is pre-wired for both.

For GBS, you can buy a kit (includes the sensor, and an ECU that plugs in up under the dash on the driver's side) - for the 20/21 TRD Pro it already has the hood latch sensor in it.

For Parking Sonar, you'd have a lot more to add to get it working...I'm in the middle of actually doing that for someone here soon. It's not cheap.

On my truck, there was a bracket under the carpet inside this circle that I had to modify the DDI mounting plate to clear. It looks like that bracket is on your truck too, but doesn't seem like you had the fitment issue I did.

Finally got the Eibach Pro 2.0 on. Level left to right, 1/4” rake with out of box setting (2 1/4” lift in front). Will add CB +1 after the alignment this week. New tires in a few weeks.

Not nearly as cool as Rey, but I am enjoying the process.

How is the ride so far? Eibach seems to be making more and more traction on trucks and their new rear reservoir kit looks pretty nice.

So my ARB kit was the mobile unit that was in a case. So I converted it to fit permanently. I lengthened a couple wires to make it work. I need to revisit the relay I used and upgrade to thicker wire. It’s getting pretty hot during use. But other than that it’s been great. For the quick disconnect I used arb line from the outlet of the arb. Just found the length I needed.

I only have a short couple of drives on it but so far so good. Feels firm, no nose dive with hard brakes ( did a couple on purpose to help seat) and less roll in the local round-a-bout. And speed bumps are much smoother. Ask me again in a couple months!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We just got back from camping at cape lookout. I hit sandlake again and this time made some adjustments to the bypasses and wow what a difference. It was choppy as all hell out there with everyone ripping around. The middle section had some rollers that were pretty large 2’-3’ I’d guess. I was able to go 55-65mph and it was smooth with a lot more left in it. Video doesn’t do it justice but here we go.

Got mine wired up complete today. Added about 4 feet to each wire between the plug and the firewall. Getting that thick ass harness through the firewall was a bitch

Pulling a single wire (for my dash cam) was a PITA. Cannot imagine pulling that large gauge wire thru.

I tried to use the little nipple spot...that was a mistake. Damn-near pulled the whole grommet out. I'm not looking forward to the wire for the winch switch and the lead for the Switch Pro controller.

Minnie’s now have a package with beefy tires and suspension. My in-laws bought and new Micro Minnie this past spring. Tires on it are more aggressive than most stock trucks. Here is a picture I had snapped this summer when we were camping with them. They don’t have any skirting below the frame line to keep the clearance.

@Dsptundra is right, lots if not all of those models now have the “Offroad” package. It is another mandatory option. Think they just flip the axle and put on offroad tires. Mine are not as aggressive as what Dsptundra posted, but they are not nasty ST tires oozing oils.

Mine tracks true, but winds and passing semi’s does “wag the dog”. Think part of the prob is my single axle.

Yeah, I get a little wag in those conditions with mine but my sway bar has been awesome.
