Almost every time I get in I am having to adjusting the mirrors.
Now about 1/2 the time it’s daylight, but for the other half it’s dark.
You know what I’m talking about.
Those little freaking buttons are not illuminated. While they are many others that has this feature, something you are adapt to use frequently at all times, these are not.
Has anyone modified these and if so please share.

It’s possible yours is faulty? I’ve never had to adjust my mirror unless one of the litttle women drove my truck.

Are any of the buttons illuminated?

I bought my truck 3.5 years ago. I set them on day one. I haven’t touched them since. Why are you moving them so often? Do you not know how to properly set them so they are the most useful?

The only time I dick with my mirrors is when I have to extend them for towing like twice per year. Otherwise with the old stock ones I never adjusted them aside from the initial. I second that.. why are you having to move them so much?

The only time I need to adjust my mirrors is when someone fucks with them and then I know where the buttons are so it’s never been an issue to cause me any consternation. Take a deep breath, it’s going to be ok.

Sounds to me like your mirror controls are broken. You shouldn't have to be messing with them that often unless you are one of several drivers. And does the Limited have memory settings? If so, use them.

The shifter is not illuminated. The turn signal control is not illuminated. The seatbelt….. Yet you know where it is. As often as you adjust the mirrors should be muscle memory by now.

Yeah, your right, I do move them a lot. I have a boat trailer, a camper, a smaller utility trailer, all of these I’m backing around all the time and the mirrors moves constantly to support those actions.
And then backing into my garage and placing the rear tires exactly where I need them, so they are moved again.
I use the mirrors obviously more than you all, and illuminated buttons would be a plus.
    To each their own.
    Enjoyed your comments.

I figure the blind can read brail so I use muscle memory and touch to locate controls.

I’ve seen some people put an LED over there to illuminate the switches in the dark. You could also use a few tritium vials.

Hell I’m with you Mike. I am always adjusting my mirrors for different loads and light conditions.

Maybe this will actually help vs not help.

I don’t have a problem with those on my 2021 Limited but, my rear view mirror couldn’t stay in place if I welded it. It is more flaccid than a…use your imagination.
