No and I wish it did too. At night I always have to feel around for the power mirror button.

I'm guessing they're still using switches designed back when doing things in the dark by feel was fun.

Your ad states that buyers will be able to skip sales taxes because you're not a dealer. Unless your state is different from any that I've ever known, the buyer will be required to pay sales tax either based on the sale price or by the DMV's own depreciation schedule when they register it. Unless you know that to be a fact, I'd recommend removing that from the ad.

In the wonderful state of Illinois you get screwed ! buying a used car from a dealer you pay 8% of the total price comes to $4000 then prep fees are taxable at $300 = $4300
Buying from individual a flat rate of $380 for a 2017 so says the IL FORM RUT50 :crapstorm:

WOW! Who could possibly have guessed that the state of Illinois would let that much tax revenue go through private sales! Apparently the used car dealerships have a weak union!

Matt - I just got punched in the nose on the $33k price of my '15 Tundra. What's wrong with our state?!? Makes NV look more inviting. I do know that NM has some special rules for RVs - you can buy and register there for 1 year and only pay their county tax rates but I'm pretty surprised to know that there are multiple states out there with no sales taxes on private auto sales. Don't get me wrong, I like it but it's pretty stunning.

Check out how much you would have paid in taxes in Kali. Lots of folks in Kali used to go to Oregon to save major $$$. The Kalikommies running things figured that out and now make you pay a "fee" if you bought a vehicle in Orygun and registered it that crazy state...of.......Kali...

I would love to put a low intensity courtesy light in my cab focused down on the center console area like a lot of vehicles have now. This might be a lead on how to do that if I can find the right LED(s)!

I had this in my Jetta, a low intensity red glow. It's very nice at night and not distracting at all!

I just drilled a hole and installed a small led behind the panel, had to add a 1k resistor to dim it down a bit.

I was searching for this and looking to see if I had a light out on my new truck.

Wow, surprised Toyota missed that, I’m pretty sure the switch is illuminated on my 06’ SR5.

No front sensor, no illuminated mirror control, rear window switches or window lock. Good thing it’s still got the rear window switch or if just drive my old tundra all the time....

I was surprised to see the number of controls that were not lit. My 2017 Platinum has zero interior accent lighting and the instrument is not backlit without the parking/head lights being on. I did replace the halogen headlights and fog lights with 18+ OEM LED which are better, but still not great. It seems like Toyota engineer's do not think people drive a Tundra at night.

So i can see in the dark to turn interior lights on or lower my rear window, but cannot see to adjust my mirrors, adjust brake controller, or even turn my headlights on for that matter. Maybe their thought process was to be sure to illuminate the interior light switch so I can turn that on and find the rest of what I need?
