tundra31.jpg tundra11.jpg Hey everyone, So i purchased my first Tundra 2016 Crew max Red TRD. Its been over a year now and all i have done so far is purchased a ProZ roll up tonneau cover and black nerf bars. I want to now start slowly building my truck!
I cant decide what lift kit or what size tires/wheels. My buddy told me to get a 6in fabtech with 35s. As nice as that sounds i dont want it to high.

I just purchased the Go Rhino rear bumper for my tundra and a pair of black midnight rigid led lights to install in my bumper and the Toyota pro grill to swap out with my chrome one (bumper & lights should be here next week and im not to sure on the grill yet).
I think i may purchase the Go Rhino front bumper after my lift kit once i save up more money. But not quite sure if i really love how the front sticks out that much(still deciding).

I narrowed it down to a 4.5 BDS Lift with 35s or 6in lift with 35s. Or what do you suggest? I dont know much about lifts at all and Any POSITIVE info would be greatly appreciated. tundra31.jpg tundra11.jpg tundra21.jpg tundra sdhq.jpg Thanks again! I also added a pic of a tundra i really liked haha.

    Check out @ToyTec Lifts
They have a little bit of everything you're looking for. As for lifts, there are so many that work really well. You can spend a ton and you can spend a little. For a better ride and more capabilities you want a suspension lift. Leveling kits are much cheaper but you're not getting more versatility, your just getting height. Most of us on here are on a 3 in lift or something not much higher than that. You can get your 35s under there and it looks great with a much need improvement to the height. Again, lots of us are using @ToyTec Lifts and are extremely happy with a lower cost impact. Biltsteins and BDS are not bad either for the money. Check out these threads i've attached for everything you're looking for to make your decision easier!! Hope it helps. Welcome to Tundras.com by the way

this is mine a while back. It has a 3 in lift in the front with a 1 in block and suspension in the back. The block is just to lift it an inch. There are other options to choose from when you start working on your plan

Welcome! Go with a 3/1 kit and get 35". If you're going 6@ go with 37" tire, IMO.

Welcome Sam. With 4" and higher lifts you have to cut the cross member out of your truck and replace it with a bracket. Hence the name "bracket lift". That was a deal breaker for me. Instead, I opted to replace the front coilovers and put shackles in the rear. This lifted the front at least 3.5" and the rear 1'. With 295 70 18 tires (basically 34+") you will be adding another 1" of overall height. This option increases travel w/o a lot of pre-load on the coils but requires new UCAs as well. Just my .02

Welcome from eastern CO! I agree with @Sean266, if you get a 6" lift go 37's. Otherwise, just get a 3/1 with coilovers and you can fit 35's.
