    Debadged it only to also pull off the paint in two spots.

    Then proceeded to install my Falcon Shocks only to break a tie rod and get my truck towed to the dealer to unfawk my fawk up and install them.

    Monday my post will look something like this.

    :spending::spending::spending: to the dealer :annoyed:

    Tablets or iPads are very useful in my opinion; I use mine for Waze, Torque Pro, some surfing when waiting for my bride while she’s chopping, and watching Truck Gang and @2020Platinum videos.

    The evolution has been completed. I completed another mod and installed the auto locking tailgate. Naturally, I had to upgrade my keyfob to a V2 AJT designs.

    Looks great! How much did that vinyl kit cost? I looked on the TVD website and they are out of stock of the kit for my wheels...so it is not displaying a price.

    Well it has begun. Started on the rear passenger door. Don't think 4 rolls will be enough for what I want to cover. Didn't like that I had to cut a hole for that plastic piece on the door panel to fit. Has anyone trimmed that piece and just let it fly or cover it with wrap ? Doors is more solid for sure. Great stuff so far. Didn't install my new speakers yet since I want to wrap the truck 1st before installing anything. I did notice the speaker didn't like the wrap and wouldn't sit right on one corner. Hoping with the new pods I won't have that issue.

    With the exception of the rims, chrome delete finally complete! Also added the DD Stealth 42” light bar while the front end was torn apart, and holy crap, that thing is bright!

    Only casualty during the install was the front right parking sensor, which I never use so had to order that, which I assume will be a PITA.

    If there’s anyone out there that has been looking at the Beech Lane tailgate step, either because you don’t want to spend the coin on a bumper step because you’re cheap like me, or because you’re an old lard ass like me, I’m your guinea pig. If you’ve been wondering if it’ll work with a SwingCase, no worries, heck, it even works if you have the bottle cap opener mod. I pretty much followed the instructions, except I placed nylon bushings between the mounting plate and the tailgate, and I used the tailgate lock access cover Torx screws to mount the strap, eliminating having to use two more of the self-tapping screws. I’ve been up and down the ladder a few times, and I would say it’s plenty sturdy enough for a 275-300# porker like me. I’m very happy right now. I’ll update how the powder coating and hardware hold up in about a year, if my old ass can remember! :rofl:

    Those look fantastic, and 2 spares means you can get all kinds of "out there" when off roading. :fistbump: One big question though: How long before you color match them in Blue Ribbon Metallic? :boink:

    Gonna throw one in the Sequoia too, and realized I didn’t have one for the house, so got one for the house too. Under front driver’s seat. Plenty of room, feet never touch it. Simply used Velcro to attach the mounting plate to the carpet. Some use a bar to mount it to the seat bolts. Maybe I’ll do that down the road if the Velcro doesn’t hold up.

    Good idea to have one, but if you were to be in an accident that velcro might not stop your fire extinguisher from breaking your ankles. :boom:

    Anything not secured inside the vehicle during a crash becomes a missile. Including people. On of our company's safety guys was also an EMT, and he shared stories. Unpleasant ones.
